My 15 month old son has been diagnosed with peanut and egg allergies. Anyone else in the same boat?

Haven't tried them yet, I was told to wait til 2 years of age for both eggs and peanut butter as most little ones' tummies can't deal with them. My mom said when my brothers and I were really young, we all had reactions to eggs, so she waited until we were around 2-2 1/2 and we were fine.
