Peas and Green Beans

I always mix it with cereal or fruit. I have found that my baby LOVES bananas. So when I find a veggie that he doesn't like (peas or green beans) then for every spoonful of the green stuff I put a spoonful of what he does like and he will eat it that way.

Perhaps you should tryi " Baby Led Weaning"
What is it, you may wonder?
In short, Baby Led Weaning (BLW) is skipping thin and runny purées and not feeding your baby with a spoon.
It's quite possible that your baby doesn't like purees... My daughter was the same way until it dawned that she wasn't interested in me feeding her. I started steaming her veggies and cutting them into small pieces and now she's eating her veggies with out gagging. Give it a try, however, the trick is to know if your baby is ready...
Baby Led Weaning means offering your baby (age appropriate) foods that are soft-cooked and cut or mashed into small easily manageable pieces. These foods are then given to your baby to eat. You do the cooking, the dicing or mashing and the offering of the foods and your baby does the rest.
Baby Led Weaning does advocate allowing your baby to make all food choices for him or herself.
Here's an awesome website that can give you more variety in you son's diet.

Alex won't eat peas or green beans and he doesn't really like carrots much either. Since he can eat puffs now I have started giving him frozen peas and chopped carrots. I just microwave them so they are kinda squishy and he loves to try to pick them up. That is the only way he will eat them.
