My son will be 10 months in a week, his schedule:

7 ish- wakes, 6 oz formula

9:30 ish- 4 ounces of formula, jar of fruits, some cheerios, nap (about 1.5-2 hours)

12:30 ish- 6 ounces of formula

3 ish- nap

4 ish- 4 ounces formula, 3-4 ounces of veggie puree

7 ish- 4 ounces formula, finger foods, usually veggies, cheerios, puffs

followed by bath time, story time, bed time

Depending on how hungry he is I may add toast or other finger foods.

He is a great sleeper, usually doesn't wake in the night, if he does, I don't feed him (haven't since 4 months) he usually has just lost his mini-blanket so I have to retrieve it for him. Unless he is sick, he normally falls back asleep on his own.

At my son's 9 month appointment he told me to make sure my son was getting at least 24-32 ounces of formula a day until a year old. He said we could feed him whatever else we wanted on top of that as long as he was getting his formula.

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

9-9:30 - wakes up

9:30-10 - eats eggs, bananas, or cheerios and a 4oz bottle with cereal

11:30-12:30 - nap starts and last about 1 to 1 1/2hr

12:30-2 eats some cheese, green beans, corn, gold fish, gerber cheetos, or whatever he will take

2-2:30 - 6 to 8oz bottle

3:30-5 starts a nap sometime in here for about 1 1/2 to 2hrs

6-7 eats dinner meat, veggies, mash potatoes, sweet potatoes whatever we have that he wants drinks another 4-6oz bottle

8:30 bath time

9:30- 10 Bedtime if I am lucky drinks a 6-8oz bottle

He has water available through out the day to drink if he is thirsty

Good Luck hope this helps and I know that is late for bedtime but he just wakes up and wants to play if he goes to bed any earlier!

wow! i feel real bad! our lil girl eats 3 meals a day at 8am 2pm 8pm and snacks thou out the day plus juice or formula

8 am three things of baby food with drink

snack when she is looking like she is hungry puffs and juice

2 pm three things of baby food with drink

snack again same as before with formula

8 pm three things of baby food with drink

and if she wakes up at night then a nother three things of baby food

limited since she has no teeth and she tends to cram thing is lol so super small things if they dont desolve fast.

but in all she takes in 9 to 12 things of baby food a day and well over 24 oz of some thing to drink. and we also try new things all the time jello is her new thing she has tried other things have been pop corn pizza crust and when g pops is around ice cream and pudding lol

dont worry about what other might or might not be feeding there kids it is up to you and your child to see how much they need to eat if you feed him when he is hungry and doesnt seem tyo still be hungry when your done then he is getting enough and is also depends on how much he is up and playing. our girl sleeps alot! 12 hours stright thou the night and plenty of NAPS!!!! so if your still worried call your dr. and if your child is keeping up with the hight and weight then your doing great and keep it up !

My daughter eats breakfast anywhere from 8-10 just when she is hungry. Her lunch usually around noon or so she gets fruits and somtimes veggies/fruit cut into chunks. Breast milk in between for snacks and the gerber puffs if she still seems hungry. At night she eats whatever we have in small chunks and breast milk before she goes to bed.

Hey matey, My daughter Isabella is 10 months old and has two sleeps a day - one 45 min in the morning and then 1 1/2 hours in the afternoon. She has milk first thing in the morning - 120ml prob 5am, then 50ml lunch and 150ml tea, then 100 ml again about midnight. She will only eat during the day if she can pick it up and do it herself, so I am constantly worried that she is not getting enuf vitamins etc, however she is gaining weight so all must be ok for now. Hope this helps you

When we have our dinner an hour or so later I give him some sliced cheese to eat & then it's off for a shower. At around 7.30/8pm he goes off for bed..

My son is 10 months old are and his routine is pretty simple:
5:30am (or closer to 6 if I'm lucky) Wake up and breastfeed
6 - 6:30am Breakfast, Cereal with fruit & some toast (whatever I'm having, he always wants a share)
9 am Morning nap, usually about an hour
10 am Bottle
11 am Lunch (meat & vegies, with some form of carbs, like potatoe, pasta, etc)
1 pm Afternoon nap, usually 2 hours
3 pm Bottle
5 pm Dinner (whatever we're having, or if it's not appropriate then as for lunch) & dessert (usually yoghurt & fruit, occasionally a biscuit)
6:30 pm Bath
7 pm another bottle if he wants it and bedtime

He also gets snacks offered throughout the day, as his weight gain has been very poor since starting formula. Usually, he gets dried fruit pieces (from the baby aisle) and rice cakes, or pieces of avocado or banana.

My daughter (10mo next weekend) wakes about 7:30-8 and has an 8oz bottle of formula (which she does not drink anymore...i think she's done with the bottle!). I give her some breakfast (unsweetened applesauce mixed with baby cereal, cinnamon and leftover formula from earlier and then a yobaby yogurt) about an hour later. She goes down about 10:30-12. Eats lunch...some bits of bagel, one slice of cheese, half a jar stage3 dinner, half banana and formula in a cup. Another try for a bottle 2ish. Nap 3:30-5. Dinner 6ish...homemade sweetpotato cubes, mixed veggies or broccoli, grapes and formula in a cup. Bed by 9.

I had to start giving my daughter 1 or 2 naps a day, because she wasn't getting any sleep at night. She is able to eat table food, and she loves it. So I am starting to involve her with every meal, to see what she likes, and don't like. When she doesn't want to eat table food, I give her a bottle, when 5oz of water, 2 2 1/2 scoops of formula about 2 scoops of mixed rices, and the rest of fruit baby food. I make sure it is not too thick or too thin. I give my daughter some cereal that she is able to eat on her own. You can give your child real fruit and vegetables to give them an idea of what big boy/girl eats. If you put your child to bed around 9 or 10 they will sleep thru the night, and might able to let you sleep in. I hope this will help you as much as it has helped me.

my son is 9 and a half months old

-he wakes up at between 7 an 8

-eats a 6oz bottle then at 9 eats a jar of baby food the cereal kind i think it help so he's not stuffed but still gets what he needs for breakfast

- he plays and stays up till 11 then takes a nap till 1then its snack time: he eats a lot of different snake but a small amount of each.

- eats lunch at 3 witch is 2 veggies and 1 fruit and an hour later a 4 oz bottle

-takes another nap till 6 then he eats another snake the same way as his first also at snack time he has 4oz of juice for incase he wants something to drink.

then he gets another 4oz bottle at 7 and plays most of all day in his room and with me

- when its almost 9 i get his stuff ready for a bath hes in there till 9:30 and i get him dressed

-he eats dinner witch is 2 veggies and 1 fruit then he goes to bed at ten.

but if you want you baby going to bed earlier then skip the bottle at 7 and start the bath and dinner and with dinner give them the bottle hope this helps it seems like a lot but its not really and my son isn't really fat lol

Megha As long as your baby is active happy and healthy i wouldn't worry too much. If she's hungry she'll let you know. My daughter used to be a chunky lil thing but now shes tiny, She's ten months n just at 17 pounds. Her dr tried every way she could think of to fatten her up some and nothing worked. She's happy and healthy and walking a little getting into everything, Some babies are just littler than others, I know she gets it from my side because every girl in my family is little so i try not to worry too much.

My little girl gets up sometime between 9 and 10 AM and has a jar of fruit for beakfast, and then eats an 8 oz bottle (all 3 of her bottles are 8 oz.). She plays until she gets sleept (usually between 12 - 1:30 PM) She takes a nap, and wakes up somewehre between 2 -3 PM depends on when she went down. She has a jar of veggies for lunch, and has her bottle. She get's her bath around 3, but only every other day and plays until she's sleepy again. (somewhere between 4 - 5:30) and she naps until around 7:30 - 8 PM. She has 2 oz. of cereal for dinner ( I give her cereal for dinner, because she stays fuller and sleeps longer at night) she doesnt usually take her night time bottle until 8:30-9. And she goes to bed sometime around 9 - 10:30 PM. She hasn't gotten up in the middle of the night at all since she was 2 - 3 months old so that's her day, she sleeps about 12 hrs. a night. (sleepy head)

So that is 2 naps, 3 meals, and 3 bottles a day. She get's puff snacks and water in a cup when she gets a little hungry between maels/bottles.

My 10 month old daughter's eating routine is somewhat like this, and I have to mention that she does not have any teeth and she LOVES her sleep...

Wakes up around 9:30-10, eats 4 tbsp. infant cereal and 1/2 jar fruit, or 1/2 a banana. A 7oz. bottle around 12:00, then naps for 1 1/2-2 hours. When she wakes up (around 2) she eats 1/2 jar of vegetables, and 1/2 jar of fruit, or 1/2 a banana. Around 4:30-5, she gets another 7 oz. bottle then goes down for another nap. She then eats supper around 7, 1/2 jar of meat and 1/2 jar fruit, and if she's been a good girl we'll give here 1/3 jar vanilla pudding custard (which is her favorite). Bath time around 8:30, then another 7 oz. bottle, then she's in bed by 9-9:30. Then we get up and do it all over again the next day!!! She's been sleeping through the night since she was 1 1/2 months old, and is a fan of being in a routine. She's one of the happiest babies I've ever met!

My baby girl is 10 months tomorrow and she usually wakes about half 7, has her bottle then breakfast, usually a half hour nap from 11 to half 11, then play, then lunch around half 12 with juice or water, more play, another nap around half2 or 3, oh she sometimes has a bottle before her naps not always though. After that nap more playtime then dinner around half 4 or 5, more play and she usually in bed by 7 or half 7. During the day i give her snacks of yoghurt or fruit but some days she doesn't want snacks. I tend to just give her food till she full and if she wants more it's fine. Hope that was helpful.

my daughter is 10 months old - she wakes up between 6:30-7:30 am and goes to bed before 9 pm. She has a 6 oz bottle at around 6:45-7:45 am, 11 am (ish), 3ish, and 7ish. She has solid food at 7 am-ish, 12 ish and 7 pm-ish ish. As for her naps - at day care she only takes one nap in the mid-morning and after day care. When she is with me, she takes three naps.

There is a general rule of thumb for milk/formula, 24-32 oz per day (I think that is the right number - it is pretty close to that.) I thought that Katherine was not getting enough either, but her pedi. is happy with her progress. Each child is different. I didn't give Katherine many solids until about 8 months old - and now she is basically eating table foods! They grow fast!

Hello! My little girl is about to turn 10 months. She is my second and is completely different than that of my son who barely ate anything. Here is her schedule:

6:30am-7am 7 ounce bottle
8:15a-8:30a 4 ounce jar of stage 2 baby food (usually a fruit with a grain)
9:30a - 6 ounce bottle and a nap (usually anywhere from 1.5 hours to 3 hours)
12p-12:30p 4 ounce jar of stage 2 baby food (usually a stand along veggie or friut no grains)
1:30p - 5 ounce bottle
3:30p - 5 ounce bottle and a nap (usually an hour)
5:15p - 4 ounce jar of stage 2 baby food (veggie with a grain)
7p-7:30p 7 ounce bottle then bedtime.

Every baby is different though. My son in comparison to her ate nothing but formula until he was 1 and even then barely liked food. Hopefully this helps!

I have to say sooo jealous of the babies that sleep til 8! I noticed no nursing moms posted.
Laney gets up lately around 6 am and I nurse her in my bed. 7am I give her some multigrain oatmeal (guessing under 1/2 cp) with 2oz organic fruit. Also sometimes Ill give her some toast or pieces of banana
She goes down for a nap about 8 (or 2-2.5hrs after waking) I wake her after 2hrs if not awake. I nurse her again. Lunch is usually around 1230 with 2oz of veggies and some meat or a stage 2 jar of baby food. Goes back down for a nap 130-2 and sleeps another 2hrs. nurse her when she is up. play time and such until dinner at 5-530 give her either veggies or fruits about 4oz. and anything off my plate she seems interested in. Baths are every other night.
as a nursing mom I don't know how much she is getting..when I pump its usually 5.5 oz max, but Laney is still gaining fine but I do worry shes not getting 24oz.

My son usually takes one nap per day, anywhere from 30 min to 2 hrs. In the morning he has a bottle along with cereal or oatmeal. He will have another bottle around 11 and then for lunch fruit or veggies. Another bottle around 5 and for dinner meat and/or veggies. Between meals he eats finger foods such as Gerber Graduates with his sippy cup of water. He has another bottle after his bath, then to sleep around 8:30 or 9 and sleeps until around 8.

well my daughter is not a very good eater,a little low in appetite..some days she would completely refuse solids and would prefer her bottles..otherwise she doesnt have routine as such, but in one whole day
she drinks one/two bottles of formula and one bottle of cerelac(9 oz i usually feed her cerelac in bottle which she prefers)
her everyday favorite diet contains one or two bananas, one cheese omlett/one butter-potato
else of above on other days, she sometimes swaps her favorites with pasta, watermelon, biscuits, snacks and bites of what we eat.

i am concerned about her health.she is somewhere a little over lean, what can i do to improve her appetite, otherwise shes quite active ,happy baby and has started walking even..please suggest

my daughter just turned 10mths and this is her schedule, pretty much the same everyday, sometimes things vary by an hour, but thats about it.

9-930am- wakes up, breakfast: 1/2 cup cereal, 1/2 jar fruit or a yogurt and i dont really know how much milk as its just in a sippy cup.

11-11:30am- she goes for a nap(usually lasts about 2hrs) also drinks some more milk

1-1:30pm- wakes up, has lunch: 1/2 jar fruit, 1/2 jar custard, yogurt, apple juice or water

4-4:30pm- nap(usually 1-2hrs) depending on what we do that afternoon. Also has more milk

5:30-6pm- supper: 1/2 jar veggie, 1/2 jar fruit, yogurt, apple juice or water

8pm- bath, 1/2 cup cereal and some more milk

8:30-9pm- bedtime

I should note that at about 7mths my daughter stopped taking a bottle, so matter what we did she did not want it. So we started putting her formila in a sippy cup, that lasted about 3 weeks and then she didn't even want her formula, she would take a sip and then spit it out, we tried a couple different formulas, and still she was not interested in it. So our dr. told us to try starting her on homo milk, well that did not go over good, because she wouldnt take her formula we couldnt mix it with it to start her out slowly, so just having the homo milk straight gave her bad tummy aches/gas and constipated her. After a couple weeks of this our doctor said because she is a very healthy baby(24lbs) that she was concerned about her not getting the fat from the homo milk, so we tried 1% and she loves it, so we're keeping her on that for awhile, prob until shes about 15mths and then we will switch to 2%. Our daughter also does not like veggies, the only 2 she will eat is creamed corn and sweet potatoes. And she does not like meat at all.

My daughter is 10 1/2 months old. Right now she is....
7:15 - waking up and gets 6 oz bottle and then goes back to sleep
8:30 - awake
9:00 - breakfast/oatmeal or rice with fruit and cheerios or yogurt or sometimes eggs/waffles or toast
11:00- 6 oz bottle
12:00 - lunch - usually a veggie
12:30-3:00 - nap
3:00 - 6 oz bottle
5:00 - dinner - meat/veggie, finger foods
7:00 - 6 oz bottle
7:30 - goes to bed

I hope this helps. My daughter went right to one afternoon nap after she turned 7 months although before she was taking two naps, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Sometimes she sleeeps right unitl 8:30 and gets her bottle then and at 9:00 gets breakfast.

my little girl's schedule (usually) goes something like this. she varies a lot day to day, so its not as strict as it may sound, but it seems to work for her

8-830am: wake up, eat 7 oz bottle

play time/cartoons

930-10: eats breakfast (cereal, bananas, yogurt, whatever she feels up for)

1030: bath

11: bottle and nap

1230-1 or when she wakes up: lunch (chicken, pork or beef with potatoes or carrots, something like that anyway, depending on what ive made for her, followed by some applesauce or yogurt if she didnt eat any for breakfast and a couple cookies for a treat)

play time

3: another 7 oz bottle, sometimes a small catnap (20 mins or so)

4: snack and play

530-6: dinner (usually whatever we're eating cut into small chunks)

7: 7 oz bottle if she's being fussy

8: small snack if she seems hungry

9: last 7 oz bottle and bedtime

hope this helps... she usually drinks either diluted juice or just water with her meals. and when shes sick or going through a growth spurt i never know how the days gonna go... so i tend to wing it a lot of days!

My son takes two hour and a half naps (after breakfast and after lunch). We feed him normally every 3 to 4 hours (sometimes 2 1/2 hours). For breakfast, we feed him a combination of fruit, yogurt, cheerios, or oatmeal and milk (6 ozs). For lunch, we feed him a combination of veggies, fruit, and milk (6 ozs). For snack, we feed him cheeriors, puffs, or yogurt and milk (6 ozs). For dinner, we feed him a meat, veggie, and milk (6 oz).

I was also concerned that I wasn't feeding my child enough. Around 8 months old, my son ate very little (solids - but drunk all of his bottles). He fought with us when he tried to feed him. But he's now eating very well! He went thru (or I believe still going thru) a growth spurt and his appetite improved dramatically. Also, he is very active now. So, he eats because he's hungry. Try not to worry about it too much. Your child will eat when she/he's hungry and she/he will let you know. Just get a log of how much you are feeding your child and if you are still concern, make an appointment with the doctor.
