Sorry guys, theres a bit of background info!
After my son was born I got the depo jab (he was 5 weeks old and I had stopped bleeding) and had a full 3 weeks of period, I have been told that this can still be attributed to the post birth bleeding, and then I had nothing until October which was 2 full weeks, then nothing until April. I had bleeding that was the same as it would have been for a period prior to having my son, completely normal so my period is back! Yay! Then like clockwork, 28 days later I have it again! Yay! Now, we are 28 days later, and nothing. Zip. Now before having my son I was CLOCKWORK. like to the hour. So what the heck does this mean?? Is it still my body adjusting, 11 months and one week after giving birth and two normal periods later? Or should I do a test? I have had unprotected sex around the time I would have ovulated ( seeing as my period is due today) gee guys, Help? Man what a mess.

I would take a test just to make sure.

I had to be put on the pill for a few months after giving birth to regulate my period because it wouldn't go back to normal on it's own. My sister had the Depo shot and bleed for 3 months straight both times she had it. Her doctor told her that Depo does crazy things to some people. And I know 3 people who got pregnant while on the shot.

the depo shot does play with ur period but i work in the medical field and i have seen women pregnant on the shot. so still take a test to be sure if u feel its a possiblity. anytime u feel u may be pregnant u should take a test. its better to be safe than sorry!

I only got the shot that once. And I had used the shot prior to getting pregnant and when I stopped it my periods returned right away and were back to normal, right on time.

The Depo shot does this to your body. As long as you have still kept getting the shots you should be fine. Before I got pregnant with my son I got the shot once, and lost all my periods and the when I got off the real fun began. So If you would feel better take a test but I would say its just the shot, doing what the shot does best.
