My daughter is about to be 10 months and still has no teeth. Her gums are swollen but she doesnt seem to be in pain or anything and not fussy so I dont know if she is teething or not...Has anyone else experienced this? And is there anything I can do to get the teeth to break through? Thanks

My daughter is nearly 11 months, and I'm barely starting to feel two bottom teeth when she bites me, haha. Before, it didnt bother me, but those teeth are like razors!

My doctor said that you should only worry if your baby has no teeth by about 18 months. If you're letting your baby chew on teethers and such, no need to rush the process, they'll come when they're ready!

Be glad she doesn't have teeth yet.. lol! My lil man was 10 mths before he got his 1st tooth then about a week later he had another... it is good for them to get teeth later then you don't have to worry about bad teeth. Oh, they do start to bite and those teeth are very SHARP.

My daughter will be 11 month soon and she had none a month ago and now has 4. They all came up together. I would take a baby washcloth wet it and rub her gums. she liked it.

My two year old didn't have any teeth until she was one. All babies are different.

dont worry, my sister in law's baby didnt get any teeth until he was 11-12 months old then they really started coming in, its normal.
to help your baby feel better you could use teething rings, or they have net teething rings to put fruit/veggies in, there are also little rubber finger covers you can slip onto your finger and massage her gums or just use a damp washcloth to massage them.
good luck!

My daughter is almost 11 months and just pushed through her first tooth. They will come when they are ready. Atleast you don't have to worry about tooth decay! :)

I have a lot of friends with babies who have no teeth....its normal. My daughter only has two and she is 10 months old too. I would just let her use teethers (the Nuby ones are great!) you can get them at Target.
