I started giving my daughter rice cereal at 4month. But It broke her out, she couldnt keep it down. So I stoped. Then I started giving her the oatmeal cereal at 7month. But now I think that is breaking her out as well. What else is there to give her? Anyone else baby allerg to wheat or rice products?

No , You should continue giving cereals to ur baby. If u will stop he/she cannot adopt the feeding behaviour. So i think keep it up but in little amount..

Barley is a good one. No gluten. You might try rice again later on - her digestive may not have been able to handle it at the time.

Barley cereal? Have you tried different brands? Sometimes its the preservatives? You could try making your own cereal. www.wholesomebabyfood.com Good luck!

You said the rice and oat cereal make her break out? You can try wheat or barley, maybe go for an organic kind. If she still reacts to those maybe talk to your doctor. And when you introduce the new type of cereal make sure that you dont introduce anything else within a week other than the food she's already had. Hope one of those works! GL

we just skipped the whole cereal , he hated it and got constipated, he gets enough iron in his formula and he eats veggies fruits and meat so there really is no need for him to have the cereal

I started eating peas, and squash. And she really like them, and I dont like thos vegg. So I was happy she was eating other vegg, then just sw.potato's. She liked the oatmeal, when I mixed it with fruit. I mean it have been the veggs, but I think it was the oatmeal, due the history with the rice cereal. So I Have stopped givingher all three to see which it was.

Is there anything else she is eating that might be breaking her out? My daughter is on soy formula so she has only had oatmeal cereal, the rice would bind her up to much.
