My 7 month old has been pulling herself up and walking around four almost a month now. You just really have to watch her and kinda pull her down into a sitting position when she is trying to sit so she learns that's what i did. Or when you are playing with her, sit on the ground and hold her hands let her stand and kinda make her sit/stand/sit/stand but make it fun and you know praise her for sitting the right way. She will figure it out.

My little man is exactly the same, pulls himself up on everything and can't really get himself back down. I love that he developing so quickly but he seems to have no fear , and keeps bumping his head on everything as he crawls into things while trying to get something to stand up on,

mine is almost 8 months she has been crawling is News Years Day 6 1/2 months old and pulling her self up since 7 1/2months old. She cant sit her self down or pull herself into a sitting position. But she can sit up once she is there. Dont worry they do things at there own pace

It's best to trust in your own babies abilities, everyone is different. My son just turned 7 months yesterday and I was totally excited that he can now roll over on his own. Yes it seems very late but he has Achondroplasia which is a form of dwarfism. I have learned from raising two boys of average height (now teenagers) and one with dwarfism to be proud of every milestone no matter how early or late. Because when they are 17 and deciding which University to attend it will not really matter to them who sat up first :)

wow...thats great!! my first little girl didn't start to pull herself up til she was around 13 months and started to walk at 17 months yet was sitting up independently at 4 months!! I'm hoping my second little girl will be a little quicker. She only just started to sit herself up (6 months) although still needs to have cushions or an adult around incase she falls. Your little girl might be pretty quick with the physical milestones...how exciting!!

every baby developes at different speeds. i'd only be worried if she wasnt hitting milestones on time. but if she's early you should be proud! i know someone who was sitting up at the beggining of 6 months and i was walking at 8 months! my baby just stated sitting up independently a few seconds at a time without falling over and he will be 7 months on jan 11th!

My son will be 7 months on the 3rd of January and he is crawling and pulling himself up on things, then tries to walk. He is sometimes good at sitting down, but he has been sitting independently for a month now. But a baby won't go out of their bodies limits. I wouldn't be worried, but just try to keep things a little soft around her when she is playing to help pad her falls. She will soon improve.

I know, I know. I'm so jealous. Haha. On some accounts anyway. Atleast right now with him not walking or crawling, when I set him on the floor with a couple toys and go to the kitchen to do the dishes, I know when I come back, he'll still be there!! Lol!

Maybe keep everything padded when she walks. In the crib there isn't much you can do about it, she'll learn quickly enough how to sit herself back down. She's quite early though! My little one just finally learned to sit up on her own, hasn't started crawling yet, but scoots around some, and here your little one is already cruising! Wow!

I would say yes. My son is 6 months and a bit. He hasn't started that yet, but from all the mom's I talk to, they say the baby wont start doing things until their body feels it's ready. So, I wouldn't worry too much. Definitely mention it to your doctor if you're that worried though.
