My little girl was born on June 24, 2010 weighing 8lbs 7oz lost 0.5oz at the hospital to go down to 8lbs 2oz. At one week she was back to 8lbs 6.75oz but today at 3 weeks one day she was 9lbs 13oz, that seems like a big gainin two weeks. She also grew nearly 2inches. I keep googling to find out how much she should have gained but I can't find anything, so I am just curious how other babies are growing.

My baby was born at 8lbs 2 oz; when we left the hospital 2 days later she was 7lbs 15 oz. The at home nurse came 2 days after that and she was back up to birth weight. At 4 weeks she weight 9lbs 12 oz. Every baby is a little different so I wouldnt worry about such a large growth spurt that is a good thing.

My son was born June 1st at 10 lbs and 7 ounces! He lost two pounds during the first week.. He is now 8 weeks and weighing 14 lbs!

My baby was born June 23rd, weighing 8lbs 4oz 20 inch She went down to 7lbs 12 oz at the hospital, 1 week check up said she was 7lbs 13oz and then her 2 week appointment she scaled out 8lbs 50z 20 .25 inches long

my daughter was born June 14 so shell be six weeks tomorrow & she weighed 7 lbs 0oz when she was born . three days later when we came home she was 6 15oz . she already weigh about 10 lbs 5 oz lOl .

My son was born on June 3rd and weighed in at 7 lbs 14 oz, he went down to 7 lbs 9 oz on day 4, but then on July 7th at his 1-month appt, he was 10 lbs, 9 oz (I am breastfeeding and feel like a dairy farm...I can pump about 1 oz a minute and he's a good feeder!!). I hope the milk production keeps up because I have to return to work full time on August 18th and want to continue him on the breast milk.

my lil boy was born on the 8th june, he was 7lb 5oz, at about 3 weeks he was 9lbs now at 6 weeks he's over 11lbs! :)

lol well thats great! my little one was born on the 8th of june and he weighed 5 lbs 14.3 oz. now hes 6 weeks and weighs almost 10 lbs... i think he gained about 2 to 3 lbs by the time he was 3 weeks, babies go through growth spurts anywhere from 3 to 5 weeks. congrats!!! :D

My daughter was 8lbs 3oz at birth lost down to 7lbs 13oz at the hospital and at her first dr appointment was back up to 8lbs 2oz that was like 3 or 4 days after we left the hospital. Now she is six weeks old and weighs in at around 11lbs... gotta love that high calorie breast milk! :)

My son was 7lbs. 4oz., went down to 6lbs. 14oz., regained his birthweight in 2 days. At 3 weeks was 9lbs. 4oz. He eats every hour.

my little girl was born on the 26th of june at 9lb 1oz she only lost 100grams at the hosp and last monday when weighed she was 4.2kg so she gained 180grams but i reckon she has put on more weight she drinks bottles like they're goin outta fashion but i spose big babies are hungry

My daughter was born on the 26th and weighed 4lbs 2oz... Today at exactly 3 weeks old she is 5lbs 1/4oz... The staff in the NICU weigh her every day...

my baby girl was born at 6.2 at her 2 week check up she was 7.1 and her 1 month check up shes 8.1 in the 10% some babies just grow faster then others

my boy was born on the 29th jun and weigh'd 7lb 11oz and i dunno how much in oz's he has put on as in aussie we work in kg's
but he went from 3.2kgs at birth to 3.6kgs on day 5 and on day 15 he was 4.2kgs. Need to take him to the dr this week for the routine check up.

My little boy was born on the 28th.. he was 7lb 4oz at birth, 7lb 6oz at 2 days, 7lb 6oz at 5 days and 7lb 10oz at 2 weeks. He has Reflux though so doesn't keep much milk down hence the slow weight gain xx

I am afraid what she will be by nex t week, shes drank two cans of the concentrated formula today, she was doing a little more than one a day.

babies have growth spurts around 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 3 months, so on an so forth. my son weighed 7.7 when he was born and is 6 weeks old and weighs over 10 lbs now.
