I'm also a first time mum and my bub has put herself into her own routine somehow!
Ours is something like this;
7am - Mia wakes, bottle, change nappy, back to bed
8:30am - Mia up for the day, play on the floor or on jolly jumper
10:00am - Nap
11:30 - Rice cereal then a bottle
12:30 - Play time
1:00pm - 2:30pm - Nap
2:30pm - Play time
3:00pm - Bottle
4:00pm - Nap
5:30 - Play time
6:00pm - Solids meal (pumpkin etc)
6:30pm - Bath
6:45pm - Bottle
7:00pm - 7:30pm - Bed

The timings do vary but the night routine is always the same

Our day is as routine as possible but I like to add in things to keep him stimulated. Every morning we wake up lay in bed and "talk" til he wants breakfast. After breakfast we play with his weekly toy. ( I switch it up once a week) He naps. Then we kind of repeat everything. He loves his favorite toy. A purple dragon given to him recently. Bed time is routine too. Bath, pj's, an then rocking in the chair.

I work full time, so my baby is never in a routine! I only work three days a week, but it is twelve hours shifts! On my days off me and my daughter will wake up about 5 or 6 in the morning then I will feed her and change her diaper and we will lay back down in bed and sleep in until 9 or 10...I love it cause I am not a morning person! We then get up and she will eat, I will change her diaper and clothes then we will go play. We will play, eat, take a 30minute nap here and there until about 8 at night then I will give her a bath (about everyother night is bath night) and then I will put her in her pajamas and then feed her and rock her to sleep. Occasionally she will wake up about an hour later, but usually she will sleep all night from about 10 to 5! I love my baby, she is awesome! But on the days that I work, I wake her up at 5am and then she goes back to sleep for a while and my husband takes her to daycare at 8am and then I will pick her up about 6pm and the routine will continue just about like the days that I dont work! Hope this is helpful! On my days off we will go to my grandparents and visit and go pay pills or hang out with my parents, and on nice days we will go on a walk! My daughter don't really like doing the same thing every day!

I found it really hard at beginning as I left work in a management role where I did 9-10 hours a day then suddenly had all these hours to fill. A did a bit if both random and structure - after morning bath and feed went for a decent walk with the strollerthen when U got home did the housework etc with bubs in the rocker. Afternoons total random but usually another walk. This also helped with the baby weight and gettng pelvic floor back! Enjoy it though as I have just had my third and would love to have a minute to chill out with the baby but have to keep a two and a half year old amused and do the school run and activities.

Routine? No routine for us... My son feeds on demand. I don't work and we do everything on a random.

Routine?! What's that? I don't have my daughter on a routine. We kind of just go with the flow... We do everything at random, and I feed on demand! It works for us, because I don't work or drive. We play it all old-school.

My baby is three months as well and Naomi is a handful. We wake up 6:30, so I always make sure that I have a bottle ready for her because she is super hungry in the morning. We change diapers, eat, burp, and then we start to play. She is at the age where she loves to talk when you talk to her, so we have long winded conversations about silly stuff. She loves it. Then we play and exercises. I move her legs like a bicycle and she loves it because they are starting to get strong and she thinks she's doing it. Then we watch The Mickey Mouse club and Handy Manny. We love to interact with the different stuff that they do. The rest of the day is pretty much repetitive. The same thing with the added bonus of pooping, more eating, and napping. When the weather is not too bad we also go on walks in the park. She loves the outdoors. I hope this helps! :-)

It is helpful just to know what other peoples routines are like,

This is my first child and I am hardly the experienced mother...however, my son is an extremely easy going child and has settled fairly well into a routine...so here it our sample day...this varies on work days etc. I also try to mimic the one day he is with his sitter to make it easier on her, me, and any other family members that I may leave him with throughout the week...anyway here it goes:
6:30-7: Wake up/eat
7:30-8:30: play (usually watch cartoons and he'll be in his rocker and I'll try to grab a shower then)
8:30-9:30 or 10- 1st nap
10 or 10:30- eat
11:00-1:00- play (usually on his play mat or in his swing)
1:00 or 1:30- eat
2ish- afternoon nap
4:00 or 4:30- eat
My husband usually comes home around 5 or 5:30 and then he'll play with the baby while I cook dinner or finish up any other lagging chores. The baby will "usually" sit in his rocker while we eat. Every other night we do a bath.
7-8 pm- bath
8-8:30-last bottle
He will usually fall asleep between 8:30 and 9 if we're lucky. Sometimes he'll wake up between 2am and 4am but recently has been sleeping all the way through til 6:30.

If I have errands to run with him I'll try do it in the morning when he's in the best mood. Otherwise I try to plan for when someone can watch him...I hope this helps!
