When are you getting your first u/s?

Because I have no complications I only get one ultrasound. :( So mine is next week at the 20 week mark. Can't wait!!

We got our first to confirm dates (and ease my mind since I've had 2 pregnancy losses) at about 6 weeks. Then when I went in for abdominal pain, they did one, found an ovarian cyst, and I got to see baby again (12 weeks?) I was offered early u/s becuase I'll be 35 when baby is born, but we declined, so our official one is Feb 3rd - in our 21st week. (whew!)

I have Kaiser and they do u/s or dopler at every apt to verify that the baby is still viable. I love my apts, really look forward to them and seeing the baby

Im waiting for my dr to get my blood results back and then he will get me in at the hospital for a scan... but im thinking of just paying and getting a clinic to do my ultrosounds as waiting for half the day at the hospital just isnt worth it.

I'm like you Stefanie. I have my first OB appointment on Dec 14. I'll be 14 weeks. I assume the only u/s I'll get is my 18 week u/s. That's how it was with my first. Oh to be in a different country and see my little BOB (Baby On Board) more often!

Where I am in Canada. They do not do dating u/s unless there is a real need for them. This is sad because I will be 12 wks this Thursday and that is when i get to see our bean but the purpose of the u/s is a Screening called the IPS. Even more annoying because this is not my first pg my OB won't see me until Dec 10 at 14 wks for a consult to review labs and test then my reg care will start at about 16 wks. I have been seeing my GP in the mean time but it is so different then when I was pg with my first. I really envy everyone who got a dating u/s. LOL

We just had our first dr visit. They are planning on the first u/s on the 11th of December. I can't wait!

I go to my dr on 26th Nov to get my bloods and whatever else done and im hoping he will book for me to go and get a scan. Had my first baby in NZ and now im in Australia so imonly just getting use to the system over here.

I go for my first u/s Tuesday the 10th, I'll be 8 wks. I so can't wait seeing as how I'm high risk, last one was a 24 wker that passed away after his 1st birthday *cries*

We had our first u/s at 6w2d and saw the heartbeat (whew!). I go in for another u/s at 8w3d before being released to my midwife from the fertility clinic.

I am about 7 weeks along right now. We were supposed to have our first appointment on 11/18 . But I had some spotting on Tuesday and went early - it was amazing to see that little heart beat! We are still going for our big "first" appointment in a couple weeks and I cant wait to see him/her again! :)

im in the uk and havent even seen my midwife yet!!! i go on the 27th november when ill be 10 weeks and then ill get an appointment between 2 weeks later for my dating u/s its really annoying the first 3 months are when you need to be seen to check you out and make sure baby is fine but not here this is my second pregnancy and with my first daughter who is 14mths old i was 8 weeks before i saw my midwife!!! hope everyone is doing well and taking it as easy as you can do :-) x

my friends Dr sent her for a blood test and u/s on her first visit when she was just 7 weeks. My dr on the other hand is sending me for one next week when i will be 9 1/2 weeks. although I am happy mine will be later because by then s/he will look more like a baby than a bean ^_^

i go nov 27 to see what my real due date is they said june 4th, but u never no unitl the ultratsound

I was supposed to get one yesterday, but I'm stuck out of town with health issues. I have another appointment this coming Monday, so I hope I get one then!
