I dont think it matters about money at all, in my opinion anyway! We dont even really spend alot of money. I always hear people talk about how expensive kids are, but if you cut out unnecessary things they are not at all! We buy used everything, we co-sleep so no cost of a crib, we grow food in our garden and never eat out or fast food, breastfeed, and cloth diaper, so we save alot of money! We are currently saving money to have a homebirth so we can start TTC again!!! I think children make you learn a specific budget!

I don't think any one is ever financially ready to have one kid let alone more than one. Unless you are a millionaire. You just make do and find places to cut and save. But it really does make you wonder what you used to do with your money and makes you realize you probably spent it on crap. Jump in with both feet - it is a sink or swim type of thing.

I don't think it matters how much money you have.... If you are a good parent and love your children then it doesn't matter if you have 1 or 10, they will be happy and they will have all they need... So no i don't think money will affect how many children i have or not... My husband and i will find a way... Just like other people have in the past...

i'd be lying if i said money wasn't a factor in us deciding to not have any more children. We love our 2 girls with all our hearts and only want the best for them. We don't want to have to struggle to provide for them, especially when it comes to their education and lifestyle. We want to be able to pay off our home early so we can focus our money on our children. Right now my husband is the sole earner so being on one income is tough but we are doing our best to make life comfortable for us. As a family of 4, that is perfect for us.

my father-in-law used to say "One kid takes all your money. Two kids take all your money. Three kids take all your money. So what's the difference? The more the merrier!" He had eight kids.

When my partner and I got together we both had debts and now have a child and one on the way things are tight but you manage and things will get better financially in time. My baby is happy and healthy and that's all I care about. I love my baby and I am looking forward to having the next one. Money or no money I wouldn't change my life for the world.
