I also like to debate. I like to debate logically and with facts backed up by my googlewhoring. If i can't debate that way and things become personal, it is no longer a fun debate, interesting discussion, or something positive i can learn from.
It is one of the reasons i don't visit DM very often. I was tired of the bickering, mod warnings, pettiness that had NOTHING to do with the OP or a debate. It just gets too highschoolish and dramafied. (yeah, i know neither one of those are real words)
I'm hoping this debate group won't turn into the negative experience other groups have. I hope this stays Just Debates.

You are right DAna. I actually don't have any hard feelings towards DM and this isn't a group started to spite them or to bash them, so if we can refrain from doing so I would appreciate it. Thanks ladies.

See, I hate to say it but, I thought about joining this group. I like different debates I like debating with different people. What I don't like is this constant bs between two different groups or select people from two different groups. Why can't this shit just be let go? Really, everyone here and there are actually nice people but, because of run- in's and misunderstandings there continues to be this high school mentality. It's just disappointing.
