Hi we just moved to MO from MN. We're in Grain Valley. If there's anyone looking to meet make some new friends let me know! We don't know anyone here! :) I have 3 kids and they love to play and have fun. We'd love to join a play group.

I am actually in Grain Valley, Im a new mom with a 3 month old baby, I am new to the stay at home scene also. Although my little one is not old enough for a play group. Your welcome to message me anytime.

Have you looked into local playdate groups? I am part of kcmommies.com , and I have met a lot a of new people in my area through it. We have both online forums to chat and scheduled playdates all over KC as well as mom's nights. Within KCM, there are area groups, and I know there are mommies from Grain Valley area in the East group. You should check us out; my 2 year old and I have a lot of fun.

I know Grain Valley is kind of out there for you but one suggestion would be to go to the library and post something on their bulletin board. See what you get. If you lives south of the tracks then take the main road towards town, just past the tracks turn right and the library is attached to the back of the bank. (my dad lives out there) However, I live in Lee's Summit. We have a lot of different parks, and there are a lot between here and there too. Same for nature centers, and fun stuff to do. Stop in at a nature center and get one of their passports to adventure. it is fun and can give you some activities that will help you meet up with other moms. Also, as about their story times or things like that for younger kids as most parks and rec's have some. That would be a great place to start as well. Grain Valley also has a community center and though small they should be able to help you with some other ideas.
