my daughter will be 12 in jan and i would have to say with her it has been like dealing with someone with bi poler ( this she is not ) but its all the ups and downs this is when they realy start to find them selves just do alot of talking. Alot of parents dont want to talk to there kids in fear that if they talk about things then it will make them do it and that is not true. Im not saying im an expert i have had alot of problems with my daughter but i have found that when i stop yelling and talk to her like a little adult then things get alot easyer between us. And i have found that this is when she listens to me when i explain things to her instead of saying "because i said so " and i have to say she has become a good young girl that i am very proud of and i want her to know she can come to me about ANYTHING so i keep having talks with her all the time.start by saying what happened at school today? Hows your friends doing kids like to talk.

I am defenitly feeling this! My daughter is on a roller coaster every day. She is a good girl and my oldest and gets very upset when the "little kids" go into her room. I don't blame her but she also has to understand sharing space is also part of being a family.
