Hi, not only do my boys go to summer camp but I have become a camp advisor with Tips on Trips and Camps. It's a free advisory service for parents helping you choose the best camp or teen program (travel, language or cultural immersion, academics or internships) for your child. If anyone needs free advice I'm glad to help. We represent over 500 programs in the U.S. and abroad.

I have a 13 yr.old Boy Scout and an 11 yr old Girl Scout who both love attending camp each summer. I think my son would gladly stay the whole summer if we let him. There are tons of age appropriate activities in a safe, wholesome enviornment.. It really fosters a feeling of independence that they need at this age.

My kids have always gone to christian camps. My mind is completely at rest when they are there. I know they will be well nourished physically and emotionally, and I know their time will be jammed packed full of fun and friendships.

My 10 yr old went to church camp for the first time this past summer and loved it! He was gone from Monday to Friday and the church we went to had fundraisers so that they could raise the money to go this camp. I suggest it to any mom who has kids that are old enough to go.

Both of my boys went to camp this past summer for the first time. It was a church camp own by the church assosiation. My 10 yr old was gone from Monday to Friday and My 14 yr old was gone from Sunday to Saterday. They both loved it and due to fund raisers the kids can be involved in through the year at the church the cost if anything is really low.

I have my 12 yr old going back for a 3rd summer at overnight camp and my 10 yr old will be joining him this summer. I found the overnight camps thru a friend who works for an.advisory service called Tips on Trips and Camps. It's free for parents to use - they get a small referal free from the camps that are used. They represent over 500 programs (overnight camps and teen summer programs) across the US and abroad. Great way to figure out what's best for your child!

My boys are active in baseball, so they're busy all summer long with baseball league tournaments.

My son goes with the boys and girls club and loves it. Because it is a christian run organization it makes me feel really good to send him and I only pay the weekly cost. He learns so many nice things such as horse back riding, paddeling a boat, making a bow and arrow plus they have daily worship. I plan on sending him again and again.
