How do you raise a child without her dad? My goal was to have the other strong parent there and now he's gone due to cancer. Discipline is a challenge by yourself.

My husband, my daughter's dad died of cancer over a year ago. She is 11 going on 12 in May. Sometimes our stress levels get high and we have a "meltdown". We later realize together we're missing dad and we're in grief. This is going into the second year (early) but I find it getting harder.

Have the two of you been to counseling both seperate and together?  I can't begin to understand the situation and I pray that the two of you can work through your grief and begin to heal.

I am so sorry for your loss!! It is a very hard to go threw yourself. Trying to do the right thing for your daughter is really hard. Bless you both. It does get easier.
