i need help with my daughters teacher!!! ASAP!!!

My daughter is in the 4th grade... in the beginning of the school year the teacher gave out textbooks and never gave one (the math textbook HSP) to my child.... however now it is the day before the last day of school and she is saying that i would have to pay 69.99 for the book... but i don't want to end up paying for something that i never saw before... my daughter has been using the book online all year... because we were both under the impression that there were not enough books for her to get one. I need advice on how to handle this situation!!!! pls anything will do i just need a lead..... thank you so much for the help.....

You need to talk with this teacher and let her know that your daughter was never given a text book. If this progresses then go to the school administration. Teachers can be forgetful, especially at the end of a long year, but Im sure that it will all turn out fine. :)
