my daughter use to be so sweet but now she is becoming a mouthy & anything I ask her to do is responded with a big huff & a puff, and often turns into an argument. I feel like i'm forever saying to her "don't speak to me that way" and her usual response is "i'm not being rude" or "leave me alone".
Yesterday I asked her for her dirty clothes (school uniforms) so I could wash them & it turned into an argument, she just didn't want to hand them over.
She's 10 going 15 argh! please help

My youngest daughter who is 11 is a lot like that. But I expect that at this age. I went through the same thing with my 20 yr old when she was young.
Sounds like she might need some of mom's time. If not, could be hormonal. It starts so early. I honestly don't think they know they're attitudes change. But best to keep reminding her that you love her and deserve some more respect than you feel she is giving. Good luck.

first of all,the next time she gives you greef over her school clothes dont wash themdont worry if she goes to school smelling, her peres will tell her how bad she smellst ake her deodarant, shampoo, conditioner away.if you buy the tooth paste and brush take that away too.and hide yours.it may take a feww days, maybe 4 5 buut she will get the picture,if she lashes out take radio or 1 of her electronjcs away and some place were she cant find anything so for everytime she lashes out take something exspetialy if its something you bought her.after her clothes start smelling tell her she needs to do her own washing and drying and if she messes them up she will not get new.if she askes you how long is this going to be tell her for everytime you dont repect me or dont treat me right there will be one more thing missing so she will proable tell you she hates u thats ok they all do.just stick with it and there will be a big change.just hold on to your sattle it might take awhile...good luck
