Yes, thanks for responding. We have said the same things to him. Glad to know my son is not the only one and will learn and grow from his decisions. Have a blessed day.

Hi Lan, I feel your pain! My son use to do things like this as well it started off with holes in stuff then turned into drawing on his bedroom furniture which was just purchased. He loves to draw and is very good at it! When i sat him down he said " I dont know why im just bored" We had a long discussion about respect and the value of money. We asked him what he thinks he should do about the furniture now being ruined. His sugestion was that he would clean it. He then discovered that it wouldnt come off, So his next solution was to earn money and have it replaced. My husband took him to work with him until he earned enough money to paint the furniture. So his furniture has a nice coat of paint on it and looks good! Since then he has not purposly destroyed anything. Having a activity to go to for the boredom helped as well, He has voluteered at a couple of comunity centers and got to participate in painting on the outside walls!
Hope this help!
