How did you celebrate your son's 9th birthday?

when our son was about 5 or 6 he decided he wanted to go to nicer places, so we always ask him birthday party with lots of people or a special place with us and a party with my (my family, were closer to them and I have a big family and so does hubby so too many people:) since than he chooses to go somewhere usually a fun place or a very nice restaurant (one year it was a weekend at the great wolf lodge) and than a small just cake and pizza at grandmas with aunts uncles and cousins.. I love it..

gift is whatever he wants around that time.

A simple family & friends gathering in a pool, a lunch with his classmates at their school & a zafari trip on weekend. My eldest daughter also celebrated her 16th birhday.

Last year and this year we are doing LaserCraze. Then we are having some of the boys sleep over.

My son is a super LEGO freak!! We baked a cake in the form of a large blue Lego then spelled his name out with Legos on the cake. Had friends from his track and gymnasatics' teams over in addition to a couple of more friends. Played games and had a slip-and-slide set up in the back yard. Had competition on the slip-and-slide too. All the kids had a great time. He had a friend spend the night after the party oh... And... he SCORED on the Legos for presents too so it was very fun.

well my son is 10 and i asked him what he wantdto do and he said he wanted to go to chuck e cheese... so thats what we did... got him a bunch of coins and let him have at it until all the coins were gone... but earlier that day i had my daughter take him to the store for a bit while i decorated the house with ballons and party favors... with lil sayings on them... and went to the dollar store and bought him a bunch of big balloons... and guess what... come to find out there was a ? asked at school for an assighnment about what year was your favorite bday... he said his 10th... lol... and what was funny is we go to chuck e cheese every year... the only thing i did different was the balloons.... heck... my 18 yr old still goes to chuck e cheese for her b day... and all her friends... so she can celebrate it with her brother.. and then of course they go out... but still.... i gues you are never too big to go to chuck cheese... lol... oh and his favorite gift was a lego watch that he had gotten for christmas and someone at school had taken from him... and i replaced it for his birthday...

I took my son to Catalina Island for the day.

There in the island we took 2 tours and had dinner and cake.

We went on the Catalina express and he loved it.

Water War, bike riding, legos, and pokemon cards with a break for icecream cones. Went great lasted about 3hrs. Each guest got a pack of cards and goop when the party started was pretty fun for all involved :)

We just celebrated Isaiah's 9th birthday..we had a cook out at our house and had a wading pool to splash in and also a slip-n-slide..it was a "CARS" theme so we got him a monopoly game with the "CARS" characters ..he also got some kids mystery stories and i baked a cake and decorated it w/ some "CARS" characters...he also got a bike from my parents and 9 bucks from my aunt and ten bucks from my SIL..not sure what his fave present was..he was pretty excited about all of it : ) thats what we did for his 9th bday..but in the past we've done themes like "army" (my brothers were in the army at that time so he was fascinated with soldiers,etc) and i bought toy soldiers,tanks to decorated his cake and had balloons in the shape of granades..another theme was "the farm"..we all dressed "farm" style and he had farm animals on the cake i made..that year he was really into "thomas the train" so he got a train set.

We celebrated my son's 9th birthday by asking him wt he wanted 2 do, He wanted a lil party 7 to go bowling & laserquest. His afv presents was his phone & his Ben 10 stuff xxx
