My youngest attended kindergarten round up today.... I didn't think it would be so tough since I already went through this once but I'm struggling with the thought that she too will be in school full day next Fall... my babies are growing up so fast!

Just looking for some encouragement to get me by!

If today was tough what will preschool graduation or the first day af kindergarten be like?

She's so ready though... I asked if she wanted to sit by me when we first got there and she was like "no thank you!"

We had our parent presentation and then they sent us on our way while the kids stayed for a little taste of kindergarten with lunch and recess included!

Am I the only one that sees this so trying?

My daughter Riley , has her end of year program and graduation from preschool tomorrow night. I can't believe she is done with preschool already! September rolls around and she starts kindergarten. AHH! I am excited but nervous as well. She is so ready, her teacher said she will do wonderful!

my little girl is on her way to kindergarten this fall also.....i have an older daughter that will be going to the 2nd grade in the fall. I completely understand what ur going thru.....my baby just had her pre-school graduation on wednesday night and WOW she's not my little baby anymore. I know she will blossom and grow in kindergarten but i'm so not ready for her to grow up yet. She is total opposite of my oldest and very mature for her age.....but she is my cuddler and love to be with momma or daddy at all times. Just keep your head up and know that it's the best for her and for you.....best of luck!

I'm right there with you. My oldest is 11, and I know my baby is ready. I am not generally an emotional person, so I didn't expect this to bother me. We went for kindergarten round-up last week, though, and I was so sad. I know this is my last one, and I'm not quite ready to let my little one go yet. He is completely ready. He's so excited about kindergarten! I'm glad of that. Anyway, you aren't alone.

It is tough to let them go. The first few days of drop off for school in the fall will also be tough but it will pass. You will get into the swing of school and all will fall into place. It will help that she is excited to go.
