my son just turned 8 in April and instead of spending money to rent a place for a partyI bought a water park slide. I also went to a dollar store and bought a few water guns and other water toys that were very inexpensive,He was allowed to invite a few friends from the neighborhood .With some family also it turned out to be a very small but nice water party and what he liked best was that ,instead of always having a rental place come pick up the slide at the end of the party, he got to keep it. now he is envy of all his friends. The slide did cost me $379.00 but there are cheaper ones for about $179. He says he cant wait till summer so he can use it more often. that was my bday present to him and he cant stop thanking me. THE HUGS I GET WAS WORTH IT
