Hi My name is Anne Watkins, I live in Bay City MI and I am 53. I was born with Tetralogy of Fallot. I had successful surgery in 1963 and am fine now. My question is: After reading the posts I think most of the children are younger than our daughter. She is 20 and we found out when she was about 16 that she had Dextrocadia with situs inversus. When I read what other children are going through I again realize how truly Blessed we are that she does not have any other problems. My question is ---Does any one know of any kind of College Scholarship that my be available due to either my Congenital Heart Disease or from hers? I have searched every web site I can find and have not found any. Thank you for the opportunity to ask my question.

There are definetly sholarships out there. My friend's daughter with HLHS found one in Philadelphia which was specific to her condition but there are other out there. Ask your high school counselor and also call the hospitals. They may be able to point you in the right direction.
