There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and no it's not an oncoming train!

Hey,
I'm new to the site, but very familiar with heart surgeries. Now, I may not be a parent, yet, but I was a child of Open heart Surgery. Throughout all of my numerous surgeries, I can tell you, I am better for it. My actual condition is "Complex Single Ventricle, Fontan, Correction, Mitral Atresia, Double Outlet Right Ventricle"
My last Major Surgery on my heart was when I was two years old. I am now 22 years old. I have lived, thus far, a happy, mostly healthy life.
Aside from my numerous other health problems, not related to my heart, I have had very few minor scares, including a clot in my right atrium.
So, for the parents of children with heart defects, I am here if anyone has questions. Please feel more than free to Facebook me, or message me on here.

Good luck to everyone,
M.
