My 2.5 yr old has what seems like a cyclic vomiting episodes where every 30-40 days (average) he wakes up and vomits. As its first thing in the morning it's nothing but bile that comes out, but he will vomit every 10-15 min for about 5 hrs before having a couple hours sleep which he then wakes up from and is completely normal again, eating, running and talking non stop. This has been happening for just over 12 myths now. We've had tests for food allergies and a number of other scans and X-rays to see what might be causing it. But they still don't know. I was just wondering if anyone else's child has had this and what they found to be the cause.??

My daughter was like that for a few years. We also thought allergies and tried to track the food she was eating the night before. Nothing came up. She was about 3 when it started and it stopped when she was about 9. She is almost 11 now and hasn't had an episode in 2 years. Never did find out what caused it though :-(
