My daughter is 7 and was diagnosed with psoriasis one year ago. I have 4 children and have dealth with many medical issues with my children... most of them minor. I have dealt with excema, allergies to everything under the sun except peanuts and have become quite resourceful. Psoriasis is difficult though. There is no cure and the only remedy that works for my daughter is methotrexate and steroid based creams with daily moisturizers like aquaphor and eucerine. Since psoriasis is an auto-immune disease, I have her on 5 different viatmins... D, omega, fish oil, red clover & MSM. Her psoriasis was so bad at one point , it covered about 20% of her body and she had it in her ears all the way to the inner ear- it preferated her eardrums. Then , we found an excellent DR that put her on Methotrexate... my question is... has anyone here dealt with any long term effects of methotrexate? Does anyone have any other remedies that are not so harsh?

My niece also had to use a steriod cream. Just over 2 years ago, we switched to nontoxic home products and she has never had a problem since! It really was amazing! I would love to chat with you about it, if you are interested. The line is less expensive than the name brand items at the store. There is truly NO OBLIGATION. I'm not into pressuring. I love the product and it works GREAT for me and my family. It might be worth a shot to try it for 4-6 weeks and if it doesn't work, then don't purchase again. No money would be lost! You can email me at lesliejoy@verizon.net if you would like to. Blessings!
