Hi we are upon summer and going to take a trip to the beach. My daughter who is two have eczema. I am wondering what type of sunscreen to use on her as most sunscreens on the market burn her skin. My next question would be what bug spray to use as those burn her skin too since most of them contain some for on alcohol. What has worked best for everyone? I wanted to get a jump start in case i need to order something over the internet.

Thanks for the feedback!

Karen

well try a sunscreen for babies, and bug spray, i just saw bug repellent that comes as a bracelet and as a clip on, the clip on is by OFF i think, that way you don't have to put it on the skin. but the funny thing is , a little bit of sun exposure at a time really helps clear up eczema. just short periods of time each day

Try clothing with SPF. Halo makes some. And it's designed to help with eczema as well. You can find it at: https://www.halosleep.com/products/results/?product_category_id=75

hi karen, my daughter has eczema. and being that summer is approaching the heat makes it worse. i have found that the sun screen i bought before i knew that she had eczema works. she doesnt have it that bad its mostly in certain spots on her body but it also comes and goes just depends its really weird and have tried every medication and cream. but i use organic sunscreen or little swimmers mild sunscreen spray with spf 50.. she doesnt burn and doesnt scratch and her skin looks alot better. i would try babies r us, or ask your pediatrician or a dermatologist. i also use in the mean time baby powder and calmoseptine ointment. i love it! i use it on everything she gets. it is amazing. you should be able to find that at a grocery store but if not the web site is www.calmoseptineointment.com

hope that helps =)
