need help teaching #'s 20 and 30

I am homeschooling my 5 year old (kindergarten). I am having a problem teaching her the difference between 20 and 30. If you have any ideas or activities that I could do with her then that would be great and much appreciated!! Thank you for your help!!

I started making her count by 10's...but I told her to only pay attention to the first digit. So then, she was able to count by 10's by looking at the first digit. What's also very helpful is the 1-100 pocket number chart which can be bought at a store called Lakeshore Learning. If you dont' have that store in your area, here is the link and you can order on line. My daughter picked up the concept very well with this chart and at 3 she was able to count 1-100. http://www.lakeshorelearning.com/search/...

Can she tell the difference between 2 and 3? It sounds like you may need to work on place values. My math program (Math-U-See) has blocks that represent the different groups. I found it very helpful teaching my own 5 year ol. Hope this helps.
