Im not Korean but I married a Korean man and my son is (obviously) half Korean so I was wanting to feed him Korean food as much as possible but as I live in Australia with little in the way of Korean cookbooks for kids I find it hard to cook for him korean food. I have a few recipe books but they dont focus on kids and the only cookbook I have for kids is all in Korean and I can only understand a little. Could anyone help me with just a few simple korean meals or a website I can go to, to find Korean meals for kids?

I am Korean and have a 20 yr old daughter so trying to remember..rice and keem(roasted sea laver), jangjorim, miyuk kook(seaweed soup), soybean paste soup, beef radish soup are some kids favorites. You can see some of them on my blog - (I started this to teach my daughter how to cook) http://kimchimari.com But seeing your post made me realize the need for kid friendly recipes too.. will try to post more kid friendly recipes!

Udon noodles in soup, fishcakes, boiled tofu with some soy sauce, sprouts, rice, gim (roasted with sesame oil and little salt), dumplings, noodles with black bean sauce (ja jang myun), kal bee (beef ribs), fried rice, rice cakes in soup. Good luck!

I'm half Korean... my 3.5 year old is 1/4 Korean... she loves Gim ( seaweed) and rice... tofu in miso soup, tofu of any kind. She'll eat bulgolgi and steamed/baked fish, rice cakes... steamed/fried dumplings ...she won't eat kimchi or veg though
