YES!!!! There are SO many times I almost peed my pants. I'm so glad people were nice enough to let me use the bathroom!

Yes, the guys who make these rules are overwhelmingly male, therefore will never be pregnant. If only they knew

in aus most 24/7 servos have public toilets but apparently its also law that a pregnant women can pee in a cops hat if needed instead of peeing in a public place, alas when i was up the duff i never got stopped by a cop to ask, but there was a servo that refused me entry to pee at a stupid hour so i wet my self on the front step and sure enough the cops arrived and the servo got done for injustice to human rights lol, might i add waddled up to the doors looking like a beached whale in distress!!!

I don't think it should be mandatory, but I would like to think that out of common courtesy (and common sense) the shop keepers should be considerate enough to make exceptions to the rules, but that decision should be up to them.

forget about being pregnant and peeing pants, thanks to my 3 kids I can do that at a moments notice!!! I think they should consider what pregnant ladies go through, never know if you gonna barf, pee or who knows what!

Yes, same with small children. Toddlers and even 5/6 year olds have a hard time holding it in.

I know of someone who has IBS, they carry a card issued by the hospital to say they have a medical condition which means they can't wait and have to be granted access to the nearest available loo. Don't think it'd be too hard to do it for pregnant ladies, but I found most people were kind enough to let me in anyway.

It's nice when companies allow people to use there restroom even when it's not open to the publicbut often there is a reason that policy is in place. Some places (i.e. convenience store) don't let the public use their restroom because they also double as storage areas and it might not be safe to have people parading in and out all day.

I always like when a company lets me use their bathroom even when it might not be public; however, I don't think that stores SHOULD. Some women fake pregnancies to commit crimes and things like that.
