I lvoe kids, but Im done. I had my tubes tied after the 4th. If I want a baby/toddler fix I visit my grandkids or nephew.

Update! I saw the family planning nurse today and she is awesome! No mucking around, booked me in for my sterilisation counselling on July 2nd. The ball is finally rolling.

I only have one, a 7 yr old boy, but I am done.
We haven't done anything permanent yet though b/c I like my IUD. It has worked wonders for my painful periods and I'm afraid they'll come back if I don't have it...

I had my tubes tied at the age of 23!!! (JUST turned 23) I had it done with my c-section. I thought I was done. I have regretted it EVER since. My youngest is 5 years 3 months old and until recently I was regretting it on a DAILY basis.

My doc said the same thing Jennifer! I'm 32 now, and I'm done, my body is MINE now. They said I'm too young but my 29yr old hubby could get done?! I'm confused.....

Corinne, I had the same problem! BC is a mess for me, too. I got pregnant 3 times on BC, was told that I probably would not be able to carry another baby to term, and being pregnant was too hard on my back, I have 6 kids and had a late term still birth!! I had to switch doctors to get my tubal. It is defiantly worth it! Funny thing is, they said hubby could get fixed!

No! I'm at the docs again on Thursday as my implant is itching?! Trying to convince them that a tubal is the right thing for me, is like pulling teeth though. Seriously, if I hear 'what if you and your husband split or something happens to one of your kids?' again any time soon I'm going to go mental.

Definitely. It is more of a question of can I. I have a 50% chance of staying pregnant, I hemorrhage easily, I plain have tough pregnancies. My husband and I have agreed that after our son is 2, we will think more seriously about another. But if I miscarry more than once, or hit 30 before conceiving. then we are done.

Sometimes I do, but it'll never happen and I'm 99.999% ok with that. I just get 'baby fever' a lot since I LOVE babies. ;)

I didn't want more when I got pregnant with my last one! Lol, she is, of course, loved very much, and I would not change a thing, but I got my tubes tied after that!

I don't think you should take that step until you are sure. Taking a choice away will make you want it even more!

Yes, I'm in debt too. But lately have been feeling clucky lol. Isn't that an Australian word? Anyways I keep seeing newborns and want another. I know it's not realistic for me right now....I was just thinking about it.

I would love one more but if things don't change financially then it won't be happening. My husband is currently out of work and I honestly don't know how we are going to stay afloat with what I bring in so it's probably highly unlikely that we'll be having anymore. Besides even when he gets back to work we have to unbury ourselves from the debt we're in!
