Does anyone else have an issue on how their SO dresses?

Lee has a pair of boxer briefs with the fabric hanging on to the waistband by a thread. I believe I'll either toss them or use them as a dust rag next wash day.

I also throw out cloths that have wholes, like socks and underwear. He usually asks, "hey where is all my stuff? I am running out of underwear" Then I realize I have tossed to much without replacing it. LOL, oops.

Not really, but usually he asks me for advice on cloths, or I buy them for him. So, I guess technically by default, i dress him.

Steve can clean up nice. He has a few very stylish outfits. And when we go out, he always looks good. But around the house... ack! Orange faded t-shirt and green sweat pants that have a slightly hammer-pantish quality and are seriously too short. Don't ring my doorbell on a lazy Saturday afternoon!

I would pay good money to get Lee in a nice suit with some dressy shoes! Seriously he even wore jeans to our wedding! Well ok it wasn't formal and I couldn't dress nice because I'd just had Lilli, but still. Some day I want to make my DH wear a suit!

And Lee won't get rid of anything until it rips down the backside and his bum is showing!

Making sure things match isn't a problem for Jeff. His problem is getting rid of clothes that are beyond wear or repair. For example, he's still insisting that he's going to wear the winter coat he's had for the past 8 years - complete with an 18" tear not along a seam. I've been trying to sneak it out into the trash can so he HAS to replace it. I might just see if I can order a new one for him, wash it, and have it hanging up for him before he can protest (and make it worth something).

John wears a polo shirt and dress slacks with ECCOs most of the time. He'll add a golf vest on chilly days, but rarely anything long sleeved. Even on weekends, it's a polo with slacks or pleated shorts, but he'll pick thicker, casual slacks, like Dockers or Cutter & Buck. (Remember, he's older)

Obviously, if he is seeing a client he wears a business suit--I think he looks HOT in a suit, so I always make arrangements for J to be at a friends house when he gets home on those days.

I have a pretty boy too. Button down shirts or Rayne Spooner shirts. Always nice top siders. He is the pretty one but hat aint saying much in this family. lol

And yes my husband has a CAT jacket and refuses to own any other kind of jumper so he goes cold unless it's absolutely freezing and still doesn't wear jeans hell wear shorts out in winter.

Damian isn't allowed to dress himself. That sounds controlling. I'm really not. But I always buy him clothes because he can't be bothered/refuses to shop and if I didn't buy them no one would and he'd go naked because he seems to wear out his clothes. I also choose outfits for people's weddings or else he'd wear jean shorts, a shirt and thongs.

My husband is in school learning to design video games. Even when he gets out of school he won't have to dress up for work. That bum :(

My brother works in the warehouse for Frito Lay back in NY and our dad works in receiving at a grocery store. Neither of them have to dress up. My FIL works for Kohler making showers and bathtubs so he DEFINITELY doesn't have to dress up.

I've only seen my DH wear a button down shirt twice. Once when we got married at City Hall and once for when he had to go with my to family court

My husband wears the nice button up shirts and dress pants for work. Other then that he'll throw on what ever he sees first in his drawer. Usually a pair of pants or shorts (usually with paint on them or holes no matter how many times I think I got them all) and some ratty stained t shirt (with or without holes) that does not match the pants/ shorts in any way shape or form. It drives me crazy sometimes.

Not my hubby. Even when it's 1C-3C in the mornings in winter he still wears shorts, he does put a sweatshirt on though, but only until he gets to work.

My Hubby's from Saskatchewan and now being in Australia our winter days can sometimes be warmer than the summer days back home. It very rarely gets below 0C here.

My hubby wears short and T-Shirts all year round. I have only seen him in long pants about 5 times in the last 3 years. He even wore shorts for our wedding (it was on the beach so excused).
He does at least colour co-ordinate though and his clothes aren't tatty. I do work in a clothing store so can get him clothes anytime.

My brother owns about 80 plain white t-shirts he buys at corner stores in his neighbourhood. Then about 100 in other colours and maybe 70 pairs of jeans. He owns some work boots since he works in a warehouse, Timberlands, sneakers and a pair of Addidas sandals. His wife borrows a lot of his clothes LOL.

No problem here with my SO, he likes a crisp white-T daily, fresh Nikes or Timberlands. He wears button ups when it calls for it..other wise he is in a plain-white T (not the thin Fruit of the loom kind, these are more thick)

Yup hubby's a pretty boy Meggy BUT he's not gel'ed up hair muscle shirt kind of pretty boy. He's more like creased jeans, button down shirt with a fresh pair of Nike's pretty boy. It's actually one of the first things I noticed about him when we first meet...how well he was dressed and imo the shoes always have to be clean and nice!

September your hubby sounds like my brother. We had to re-dress my dad all the time. Especially when he tried to wear WHITE VELCRO SNEAKERS to church!

My hubby first met my parents wearing ripped camo cargo shorts and an I am Canadian t-shirt with holes in it! That's when I first realised that he needed my help.

Jason actually complains because I keep stealing his shirts. lol. Most of them are Marvin the Martian, Marvel Comics, or Star Wars shirts. He only wears jeans, and only has either blue or black jeans. The only issue I ever have is if we're going someplace nice (very rare) or if the shirt is too tight.

Mine will ask me if what he's wearing matches/looks ok. He will not wear flip flops or sandals of any kind unless he's going to the pool, which isn't often. For day to day, he's wearing a uniform, makes it easy for him to dress himself.
