So we have season tickets for lacrosse. It's a lot of fun. I expect that there are people doing things there that I don't want my kids to see/ hear. I hope that they would have the kindness to at least think twice about it. It's not like we're the only family there with small children. Tonight my husband left early with my son, who was melting down because he was over tired. I had my girls with me. This guy comes down from his seat to sit in my husbands seat. Then the whole rest of the time he's yelling obscenities and flipping off refs. He's so "into" the game I can't even get his attention to tell him to mellow out and get out of our seats. I just can't wait to hear what comes out my kids mouths tomorrow. What a moron!

I'd have shoved his arm, or pushed him out of the seat... or taken my kids to get someone's attention in order to have him removed. I mean its one thing to steal someone's seat, I mean if it's empty, what's the problem with asking if he can sit there? But to be so rude as to not pay any attention to the age of the people around you or even ask if he could have that seat?



Try putting coats there or something if that happens again, that usually deters people from seat stealing.



I've done that in theaters, kinda. When someone is being rude and commenting through the whole movie, I"ll turn around and tell them I paid to see the movie, not hear them talking. (did it to a kid once with a "Do you mind?!" worked like a charm. The look his mom gave me wasn't so nice but if your kids can't be quiet in a theater then he doesn't need to be there. (*We went to see Transformers, so it's not like it was a kiddie flick)



I"m loudmouthed and fairly opinionated....so yeah it gets me in trouble sometimes.
