Oh some trollette Militant EBF mom has pissed me off. Now I'm a breast feeding mom, but I don't make it my life's work to start fights with bottle feeding moms on the internet. It must be nice to have no life and be a total git to all other moms just because you don't feel that their choice is right. And seriously if you're going to be a git online, at least have the lady balls to use a real name.

There was baby oil in the water so his hair looks bad! Well I believe the constant 'attention' both my daughters give the kitty (I have a 6 month old as well) is why he's learned how to open the screen door to the patio.

Angela tell me about it. I'm an American in Canada, my inlaws refer to any meal eatten out doors as having a BBQ. However they do have dinner first, then presents then cake.

I do have a neighbour whose wife's family is from the Netherlands though, I could ask if it's normal there to eat dessert first.

LOl Thanks Angela, I was just curious because I heard the show was more popular in Europe than in North America, mainly due to marketing.

And I don't get why that mom wants to rush things. Don't they usually do games and presents before the cake ?

If you want people to be at the party at a specific time state it as so on the invite!!!
We missed the singing of happy bday and cake part. How was I to know!

Yes she does watch it and likes it, heck its fairies and loads of girly stuff just her style!

I am usually a very nice person, but my Mother In Law has been pissing me off lately. She has been criticizing me about me still breastfeeding my 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter, that I let my kids sometimes sleep with us in bed, and me being naked around them is wrong. She is basically criticizing me as a mother and I hate that!

Christina, I'm a care aide. I bet we have some simular stories :)

Elizabeth, yes it is. Nick is re-airing it in the US and Canada. But there were about 14 different releases in 14 or so different languages. My 7 year old watches it. I don't blame you for being pissed off about the birth certificate.

Okay, I'm pissed at my daughters dad. He borrowed her birth certificate and lost it. A new one is going to be $25.

Angela, my daughter was up at my MIL's twice over the summer. Once she had seen the kids playing outside and went over to see if they could play. They ran inside then the mom said that the girl couldn't come out because she'd just had an opperation. My MIL asked, well if she just had an opperation why isn't she in the hospital and why was she outside. And yes my daughter is lucky, that woman and her children are quite rude. They won't even say hello to my MIL when she says hi to them on the way to the corner store (my MIL lives in a very small town which is part of a larger town and they have what you'd call a village store which reminds me of a camp store at a camp ground) and my MIL lives across the stree. The woman is just nasty and she taught her kids to be nasty too. I can't imagine how the heck she got a boyfriend.

Oh completely off topic. But have your kids ever watched an Italian cartoon called Winx Club? I like the Dutch opening better than the English one they have.

Oh My Meggy at least all my neighbor keep their gardens nice and what not. I hate nasty kids like that because they probably learned it from their parents and I feel sorry for how they will probably grown up to be.
At least you daughter has parents that teach her to respect herself and others can not imagine what they will grow up to be like.
Yeah well I am going to make him do it ....it is called nagging...ha ha

Good luck with that. My husband and I both speak English in a part of Canada that is predominantly English and he won't say things half the time.

Oh this woman and her kids who live across the street from my MIL pissed me off over the weekend. Her kids are always nasty to my older daughter and Sunday they told her that she couldn't play with another girl because THEY didn't know her and blah blah blah. The woman's house is a friggin' trash dump too. All the other houses on my MIL's street are either large or small and have nice yards with gardens and mini white picket fences. The hedges are trimmed and there's nothing out in the front yards-save for a camper or a bike or a dog. This one has junk all over the place, weeds everywhere and the hedges are overgrown. Yet she once told the community rec centre leader she has the nicest house on the street.

yes I am going to try to reason with them. Also some other double park with cars but the vans are the worst culprits I don't think they realize the safety issue. I am going to try and I a going to state if it can be worked out than yes the police must get involved but I want my husband to do it. He is Dutch he can speak it better than me and he is the man and that is his man job ha ha

Just a tip to take or leave but my Claire had eczema so they told me to put lotion on her before and after her bath. This helped me not use the baby oil in the bath but keeps her skin soft .
Now for the cat.... sorry I have no idea!!! Except to have it hate you for making it look even more stupid :)

The cat that my MIL's friend owned learned how to open the same screen door (My DH moved in w/ her 3 years ago when he started university and after she moved he got to keep the apartment which is good because it kept our rent low) I guess this cat's following in her foot steps.

I put baby oil in the water because Abby (my almost 7 year old) has very dry skin and the baby oil will soak in. But her hair looked bad too so she's taking a shower right now. I kind of want to bathe the cat, but he's very fluffy and looks hilarious when he's sopping wet.

My husband washes dishes but he never cleans up the counters or the stove! He places a kitchen towel over the counter near the stove so he won't have to clean if he makes a mess with his tea.

We share in the cooking and such but never in what to make for dinner. If it were up to him, all we'd ever eat is Mac & Cheese, rice with cream of mushroom soup or Ramen
