I take our child to school. I have spent 13 years in the school system. I don't trust anyone driving my child anywhere! That is just me but the buses have to many problems with children and then to try to drive to! No way!!

My husband or I take them to school, nobody really does carpooling which would be easier but my son can get bused but daughter dosen't so it gets very hectic picking them up with different time schedules.

Claire is in preschool and we usually take my bike, she has a bike seat of course. If not we walk because it is really close by. I only use the car if the weather is really really bad.
In the past I drove, car pooled and sometimes by taxi if I could not drive or carpool issue.

My son used to take the Special Ed bus to and from, but now he is in Welding. He has to be at school before 7:45 so I drive him in the mornings and the bus brings him home.

I live 1/2 a block from their school. So my kids walk. Some times with me some times with out. Depends on the weather, whats going on and how many other kids are walking with them. At 8 and 9 I don't like them walking alone.

Shannin, I don't. But honestly I'm upset than since I live in Canada my daughter can't take a moose to school.

We're less than 2Km (1/4 of a mile) from the school this year so I'm walking Abby to school unless it's raining, snowing or below -2C. If it's doing anything I mentioned I'll drive her to school because I'll also have to take Lilli.
Last year though she took the bus. Her private Catholic school was in the next town over.

Drive them (15ish minute drive). If my girls go to the public middle school next year they will be riding the bus. They might go to the private school where my son will be in preschool again...in that case, I'd drive.

Due to my work schedule my kids ride the bus, and we have had a fair share of bus issues. I am really hoping to get a new job soon, so that I can bring them to and from school myself.

The buses in my county all have seat belts, and they are supposed to make them wear them. with the high school kids they dont really enforce it too much though.

But the buses are so bumpy they are sort of necessary in my opinion. It is stupid. They dont end up in the same seat they started out in. :/

I have never understood the no seat belt thing!! All I can figure is in case of emergency, the kids could exit quickly and without getting stuck in a belt. Or so they don't strangle each other with them.

Last year, I dropped him off in the morning and then he took the bus to daycare. This year he will take the bus from daycare and then back afterwards.
Its more like a shuttle than a bus though. It's one of those mini buses that have seat belts.

I drive the girls. To another city, 20 miles away! Kinda crazy that our school system in our own larger city sucks that bad. Yay for the incredible charter school though!!

we drive to the bus. He goes to a magnet school, so the bus is about 2 miles from me.

We drive our daughter to school. I'd love to be able to walk her to school, but we live just far enough away to make it not possible... :(
