How much weight did you gain with your pregnancy(s)?

See How I lost weight.
Both their real-life experience and the latest fitness research suggest that low- to moderate-intensity aerobic exercise, while beneficial, is not the fastest route to leanness and overall health that many people believe it is. The real key to fat loss is high-intensity exercise, especially strength training.

Funny thing with my second pregnancy I was determined not to gain as much. I was training for a half marathon and ran all the way till 19/20 weeks. at 12 weeks despite running 4-5 days a week I still gained 12 pounds in the first 12 weeks. Still I had no clue it was twins till our 19 week ultrasound. Despite all that and breastfeeding twins for 11 months and still running 5 weeks postpartum I still have about 20 pounds to lose the exact same amount as in my first pregnancy. Some women just gain! I swear I looked at food and gained weight during my pregnancies.
I know this is an older thread but I have to add to it.
I gained close to 50 pounds the doctors told me to watch my sugar intake because it was on the high end but the joke was on them my son was 9 pounds 15.5 ounces at 2 days early. I forgot to tell them large babies run on both sides of my family.

I gained 80 with my first and only lost 50 eventually (goodbye modeling career) I didn't gain anything with my 2nd....I delivered at my pre pregnancy weight BUT nothing was shaped the same anymore and I gained 60 with my last and has been a struggle as I am old enough that my metabolism and body are changing ( the dreaded middle age spread)

I have no idea as I never weigh myself. I had big problems with eating and such when I was at dance college and would weigh myself everyday. I asked my midwife not to tell me my weights and she kept those records at my docs so I wouldn't freak out. I was a size 8 (uk) before I had Mia and was back in that size 6 weeks after she was born. With Devon, he just turned 4yrs and I've literally just had to go clothes shopping as I'm finally in an 8 again. :)
Does negative weight count? My net gain with my daughter was 0, everything I had lost the first half of the pregnancy I gained in the second. With my son I ended at -1 lb. After my daughter was born I ended up gaining almost all of my weight back around 3/4 month mark. It made me so mad. Thus far I've been able to keep off the weight after my son. I actually weigh less than on my wedding day, because of that I have to go and get my rings re-sized.

I gained 8 lbs with each baby. Weighed less after I had them than before I got pregnant. I ate like a horse too. Taco Bell, Blue Bell Ice cream, etc. etc............ I was only hungry (constantly) from 5am to 3pm. Then I really didn't eat after 3. My Dr. made a joke about my not gaining saying he was going to give me a prescription for ice cream. I told him I mainlined blue bell. lol

I gained 60 lbs too! But 6 months later, and according to the scale, I lost it all. I was 150 before pregnancy and I am 145 now. BUT, I still have the freaking belly and big boobs (still breastfeeding).. but the belly!? When I eat, it sticks out a lot that you may think I am 4 months pregnant (and baby is almost 10 months now!). Not to mention that half of my clothes still don't fit. I want to lost it all (and more) before baby # 2 (we're working on it).

September good luck with that! My son wanted a sister and the day we went for the ultrasound he swtiched to wanting a brother. Of course all along we kept saying you don't get to choose you get what you get, the ultrasound technician said "it's a girl" and his response was "maybe it's a boy" lol. He's still asking for a brother but hubby says we're done.
Now to answer the question too much! I think I gained 60 with my first and 55 with my second. I don't think I lost a single pound after I pushed them out. I eventually lost the weight in between my first and second and I just signed up for weight watchers again to get rid of my pregnancy weight from my daughter, she's going to be 2 it's time to lose the 40 lbs. I have left!

I dropped 40 right away but 20 of it just wants to hang on...oh well! :) We hope to start trying for another soon. (I only have 3 weeks of pills left and then I'm done with BC) I'd like to lose the 20 before getting pregnant again. I'm working on it.

I gained about 30ish lbs with my daughter. I've never eaten healthier in my life than when I was pregnant lol. I've always had a few extra lbs on me so yes I eat pizza on friday nights and I love a good glass of wine but when my husband and I decided to start trying I quit the wine (obviously) quit soda, ate lots of fruits and veggies, only ate wheat bread and wheat pasta (which I now like more than white bread and regular pasta). I am not going to lie...there were a few days at work where I ran across the street to McDonald's lol. I remember apologizing to my belly. Anyway, the doctor never complained about my weight and now I am thinner than I was before I got pregnant. :) wooo hooo!

I gained 14kg (about 30lb) with my first I lost 18kg (about 39lb) just by having him so I was 4kg (about 8lb) lighter than before I fell pregnant.
With my second I gained 10 kg (22lb) and lost it all pretty much straight away again.
I am now a size smaller than pre pregnancy
Its not the bones katherine...this ass is fat now.. Lol. I'm not bothered by it though. I exercise regularly and still eat healthy, once i start breastfeeding it will go away...and I plan on doing insanity after I have the baby to get back in shape. The shape i was in before i had gabby.

I gained 25 kgs which I think is like 60 lbs and most of that was fluid, I lost 10kg in the first three days then by day 12 I'd lost 23kg. I actually weigh more now then when I had her at two weeks which sucks and because the weight went to fast and I had a c-section I've lost so much tone in my stomach( not that I had alot to begin with!)
With gabby, none, i walked out of the hospital weighing less than before i got pregnant. I still had to tone and get back in shape though. I'm close to 170 now, thats 30 lbs and I'm 28 weeks. It all went to my ass too. My face and upper body are still the same size. (excluding my belly).
