We're only a month in and I can't wait for winter to be over. I'm sooo cold all the time.
At the moment I have 3 layers of clothing on, thick socks pulled up to my knees and ugg boots. I just had a cuppa, I'm still sitting here freezing, my toes are cold and my hands are like ice blocks.

I have rellos in Sydney. Sutherland and Engadine. My Dad was originally from Sutherland. I've been there numerous times but mainly in summer. I've been during the winter once or twice and it is certainly colder than Perth.
And as for the UK, forget that! I think I'd die!!!

I'm born and bred South London Louise, and had mornings where I hadn't been able to drive to work because my car was iced to the road :)

It's a different kind of cold, and the houses over here aren't built the same way, single brick, no double glazing and no central heating. We came back over in April and I think it was around 20 degrees, I was still cold then.

Im sorry 16 degrees!!!!!!! I am English and we are in summer at the moment and it is 15 degrees today! I thought you were somewhere cold! lol Dont come to the UK then because in the winter this year it dropped to -14. Now that is cold!

I'm an hr south of Sydney. The outside temp isn't that cold, it's been around 16 degrees but there's an icy bite in the air and it gets right into my bones and I can't stay warm.

Where are you Amanda? I'm in Perth, sunny and 21 degrees.
I don't hate winter but I hate being cold. I'm lucky this week, we have had beautiful sunny days and I have been able to get out and play with my horse, the rain will be back next week though and I suppose I'll be complaining about that. But then it will be good because we are on a rain water tank and so it's great to see the water level going up!
I hope you warm up soon ;-)
