Corbin (4 years old) and Lynn (1 year old) met their baby cousin last night (2 weeks old). Their reactions were absolutely hilarious!

Corbin saw my sister breastfeeding Brooklynn (my niece) and asked my sister what she was doing. My sister calmly said that Brooklynn was eating. Corbin got a very concerned look on his face and asked "She's eating you?". lol. He then came to me and told me "Mom! Brooklynn's eating Bambi (what he calls my sister) under her shirt!" I said, "What?" He said, "Brooklynn is EATING Bambi!" I then had to explain that babies eat FROM their mommies, they don't actually eat them, and that my sister was going to be okay.

Later on, we let the kids hold the baby (with help from both my mother and I, of course). Corbin did a good job and told Brooklynn that he loved her. It was cute. Then we sat Lynn down to hold Brooklynn... wow.

I swear Lynn thought she just got a brand new doll. She immediately kissed the baby, tried to pat her head, and when she started to get too wild, we separated them. Lynn was having NONE of that, and she kept lunging towards Brooklynn with her arms outstretched! We finally distracted her, and everything was fine. It was SO funny!

I just had to share. I love kids' reactions. What funny reacitons have your kids had?

She had jut finish hershower and I was standing there talking to her. She w still putting lotion on when he walked in. And he yelled. "Grandma you ave Hippos too? When did you get hippos? Granma's aren't suppost to have hippos!" My moom had no idea what he was alking about but I was laughing so hard I couldn't explain it. So my daughter did. " Grandma he just realized you have boobs too." As she just walked by the door. Then she started lauhing trying to explain al women have hippos. He is my little nut ball.

Now that I read what I wrote I should probably explain. That is how Corbin and I have our cuddle time while watching Super Hero Squad. I always rub his head and let him know that Mommy, Daddy, and Lynn love him. That's what he was doing with Lynn.

Corbin has been throwing toys into Lynn's crib so that he can climb in to get them out. He immediately climbs out, but I don't want him teaching Lynn how to do that. I keep punishing him for doing it.

Anyway... I woke up this morning and hear Corbin and Lynn talking. Not unusual. (I have their room so it can only be opened from the outside, and their toys are in there, so he usually plays quietly for a bit in the morning.) I get myself ready, and then open their door intending to get Lynn out of the crib so she can play with Corbin. All of us ended up surprised! They got caught!!! Corbin was in Lynn's crib with her, and they were both laying down and talking nicely and rubbing each other's hair and faces. It was SO cute.

Well, now that they had been caught enjoying each other's company, they both stood right up (Lynn takes a little longer, so it was funny) and Corbin started apologizing to me for being in there. "I'm sorry, Mom. I need to listen to you." I didn't know what to say or do...

One night after Mr B was born, we were all out to dinner, I noticed he was getting hungry so I handed him to my momso I could run to the ladies room, He started crying J Said whats wrong? Mom told him he was hungry, So He lifted my moms shirt while saying"'So feed him You have Big boobies." She told him that her boobies didn't have milk in them, He ran to the bathroom and told me "your Mother is rude and hates the baby She refuses to share her boobs" We tried to explain but he didn't get it. Poor guy was upset with her for over a month kept saying how rude she was LOL

I think I may have told you guys this one. My 5 year old was screaming outside, and there was no one in site, but we heard a really loud, "BE QUIET!" My daughter looks at me and says, "Mom I think that was God, I better be quiet."

It was soooooooooo funny. I almost pissed myself.
