They have (or at least had in the 80's) a medicine that you could brush on surfaces for just that purpose. Not sure what it is, though.

I had actually considered put something yucky tasting on a pair of her shoes. It would have to be something that tasted bad, but wasn't going to hurt like lemon juice might.

Hmmm... how nice are your mom's shoes? If they're not exceedingly nice, or if they can take it, maybe try putting some non-harmful, really bad-tasting oil on shoes? That's literally all I can think of... and that's only because I remember that's how my parents tried to get my sister to stop biting her thumbs.

See, he passes by me to get to HER shoes. I think that part of it is his puppy dog genes that make him chew on everything and part of it is that he is trying to get her attention because until tonight she would have to stop what she was doing to get him to stop. Tonight I was doing it. I was even trying to play with him but back he went.

I am trying to figure out what to do to stop Donovan from chewing on my moms shoes. He does it while they are on her. If they have shoelaces, that's what he goes for. If they don't he chews on whatever part he can. He is doing this all day. During DWTS tonight, I must have dropped him off on the other side of the room about 50 times literally.

I had all these things that went through my head. It was a passive agressive type of attack. I feed my kids the occasional meal which is grilled which can cause cancer. I give my daughter hotdogs which have nitrates which can cause migraines and anemia. I occasionaly use aluminum foil in cooking which can cause alzheimers. I don't buy organic. etc. I should probably go to jail too huh.

I just looked in the kitchen for my tortilla chips and queso dip that Jason was supposed to get when he went to the store. He didn't get them. :-( That was going to be my snack tonight and my lunch tomorrow.
