Got the cookies made, both kids in bed, and the note to Santa from Corbin AND the note to Corbin from Santa done (Santa's note is thanking Corbin for the cookies and reminding him that his presents are at Aunt Bambi's house). Probably going to go watch Potter with Jason.

Fabulous... my son slept about 15 minutes. I REALLY wish he would stay awake for the van to house transfer like he used to.... Tonight is going to be FUN... since Christmas Eve service STARTS after bedtime.... Don't you all wish you were me tonight? lol

Yep. He has his father's stubbornness and his mother's temper.... so I rarely 'win' when we get in a battle. For most things we can turn it into a game instead of a battle, but he's just been insane lately. I'm sure it's the excitement of Christmas and of going to his dad's on Monday, but his toenails haven't been done in at least 2 months and I NEED them to get done today.

I think my son has been possessed by the devil today....
He is OUT of control! After about 10 minutes of going in and out of time out he finally let me cut his fingernails. He's currently sitting in his underwear protesting me doing his toenails. He's always HATED it and I've even resorted to pinning him down to get it done in the past. He's too big and too strong for me to fight though, so I've banned him from getting to do anything except drink water and use the bathroom until he lets me. He's tired, he's hungry, and he wants to get dressed, but he won't budge.... AND he needs to get a nap or I really don't want to take him to Christmas Eve service, but I really, really, really want to go....
