The way Donovan's going, I'm afraid that he's going to teeth like I did. I had a full set of teeth by the time that I was one and I would eat steak. My brother had no teeth at a year old and mom said she went crazy trying to figure out what to feed him.

My little guy keeps fussing in his sleep. He turned 7 mo. on Sunday and he got his first tooth on Aug 26. His third tooth will be breaking through probably tomorrow and his fourth one looks like it's only a few days behind that.

You have to read them with a Monty Python type British accent. My one cousin who has the same taste as I do tried reading it and couldn't get into them. When she tried with the accent, she laughed out loud.

I'm back and up pops an alert that Carolee just posted. I hit refresh and there's no post:(
Have you ever read "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galexy" its a trilogy of 5 books. lol Seriously though, it claims to be a trilogy. My daughter asked me to read it out loud to her. She reads fine on her own, but she loves me to read out loud. I had read all of the Harry Potter books to her and she insists that when I start reading them to Donovan that I better let her come over.

Seriously?!?! I'm getting annoyed. Michelle's post of 16 minutes ago just showed up.
Poor thing. Your little one too. That has to be miserable. Just one of those is bad enough, but to be dealing with all three at once can't be good. Does your little one (girl?) want to be held all the time and whimpery or not comfortable no mater what you do and cranky?

No, I should probably check it out. Is it on the free Hulu or the paid plan? I have NO extra spending money right now.

So do you just walk in and it's first come first serve? I would have a serious problem with that. I have severe anxiety about seeing doctors (for myself only) anyway and it takes everything I have to not get up and leave when I'm in the waiting room and know when my appointment is.

Hey, Elizabeth! Just wondering if you've watched The Misfits on Hulu... the UK version, not the US one. If you haven't, it's awesome.

Our doctors surgery bulk bill medicare (our government health care) so we don't have to pay. They only problem is you can't make an appointment so you sometimes have to wait ages to get seen.

I'm really fortunate that the place my son and I go to have a sliding fee scale and I qualify for free and its a high quality clinic. They treat me the same as anyone else. Matter of fact, when I didn't call for a follow up for my broken ribs and they couldn't get ahold of me, they sent me a certified letter requesting that I come in. If they do this for free patients what do they do for those that are paying.

Yeah, that's the problem with the States/ We need our health care changed but there are too many idiots who think your system is a bunch of hand outs.

We also have a pretty good public health system. I took Isobel to the doctors and it doesn't cost me anything.
I had all 3 kids in a public hospital all free. Our government assistance is also pretty good.

Ok. Well it's good I asked first. It was actually an announcement about a drive in the area if anyone lived near that area.
Damn! We pay about 99 cents a kg for bananas here in BC. They're 69 cents a pound back in NY.
I freak out over milk here because it's nearly 5$ for 4 litres. I hate gas too because it's a constant 1.29 a litre here. None of the gas stations compete for lower prices in Kelowna unlike in Rochester, To think I complained about gas at 3.67 a gallon

That's why I was going to ask first. I know about no soliciting, but I was foggy on the rules for asking about the donations. I'm over in BC and most everyone I know except for my friend is in Western NY or some other part of the country.

I gave Isobel a banana the other day and you would've thought it was Christmas. Since the flooding in Queensland and Carnarvon earlier this year banana's have been sooooooo expensive. I bought 3 when I did shopping because they were "down" to $11 a kg. The most we used to pay was $2 a kg but they went up to $16 after the floods.

Ok, I dropped a PM to someone. I just wanted to know because a friend of mine was doing a clothing and toy drive for flood victims from Hurricane Irene over in VT and I figured posting in here or the welcome page would help. She's doesn't have human kids yet, just pets so she technically can't post.
