I don't know, but I don't trust him like I used to.

Honesty should be one of the most important things in a relationship. Does Jason lie to you or just to others?

Not behind at all Elizabeth.
I can understand you not wanting to make plans though.

I told Jason that I have a huge problem with how much he and his family lies.

I feel like I'm behind in the conversation and just talking to myself. lol

I have fibromyalgia, degenerative disc, and migraines. I rarely make any plans because I hate having to cancel them. Sometimes though there are things that I will push myself to go do no matter how I feel.

It's no point in lying, doesn't get the situation resolved. It's a lot better being honest from the start, just so people can make a choice to change or carry on. If they just carry on you know not to plan anything etc.

Jason finally got tired of lying to them and told them what I had been trying to get him to tell them from the beginning... the REAL reason why I wasn't going over there. I don't know why he insisted on lying to them and telling them that I "wasn't feeling well" every week.

Good to hear you made a stand.

The constant cancelling is why I don't tend to make plans with anybody. And it's the reason for my recent "strike" against going to my in-law's house. They've since followed-up on their promises of visits 2-3 times.

Irish Fest sounds like fun. My sons name (Donovan) is Irish. I wanted the name Eileen if it was a girl (my great grandma's name which is funny because when I was little I thought that it sounded like an old lady's name.)

But it doesn't help when people cancel on you at the last minute either Carolee.

Far out. I would've been ready to injure someone as well.

I'm hoping the rain clears for tomorrow, the boys sports carvival is on but I can't go on the backup date if they cancel.

I'm the opposite, Michelle. I always wish I had things to do and people to do them with, but when I do, I end up having anxiety attacks and want everybody to leave me alone.

Does your hubby know that he just gave you ammo. Now you know what to say if you need him to take over while you nap.

I can't wait for this weekend. It's Irish Fest!!! I haven't actually left the house in almost a week. I haven't been farther than down the road (within 1/2 mile) in 2 weeks.

Sometimes I wish I wasn't so busy all the time. But then I would get bored being at home. I guess I'm hard to please :-)

I know what you mean about your only contact with the outside world. I keep telling my mom that I really need to get out of the house in a non errand way. I did get to the county fair today. Yummmm fair food. But it was with my little guy and my parents and we only stayed about 2 hours.

That made me giggle but I know it wasn't said as a joke. I could imagine the look on his face though.

Carolee, scary couple: Drusilla from Buffy and Emperor Cartaga from B5 what do you think? One day Drusilla would come home from a nice kill to find the heads of all of her dolls had been chopped off and are now part of Emperor Cartagas counsel.

It's amazing how many people have been through similar things though. It's also great to get some advice from those that have been there.

Jason let me sleep when he got home, so I've been up since about midnight (a little over 3 hours ago), and I'm up for the day. Might get a nap after Jason gets home from work today.

I am so thankful that I discovered CoM. It gives me a place to vent, a place to play, and I have discovered a number of people with a lot of compassion and support.

She is thanks. On antibiotics and finally had a good sleep last night.
I was just reading your other post, OMG I don't blame you for wanting a nice holiday in a padded cell!!!
Well done for keeping going though, most people would have given up.

Morning Ladies!!!!!
I'm such a bad Mum. My 7yo didn't get any money from the tooth fairy last night. My reason to him was he lost it after he had gone to bed so it was too late.

My daughter just told me that her teacher said a bad word today. I asked what was it. She told me it was the c word. I was shocked and then asked her to tell me what it was. It was the other c word. Crap. ha ha. Hope that wasnt too rude. I have been walking on egg shells lately. :)

Jerry Springer or the 2nd Iron Man movie. Both are low brow, but they're at least funny
