So I'm trying to keep my mind off of my pain and I'm going to talk to myself.
I'm thinking about getting a hat for my son in a couple of sizes to large and stuffing it with bubble wrap for when he bumps his head. Just like microwave popcorn, when the popping slows down, it will be time to take it out, then I'll put more in. The problem is, he would probably figure out what made the popping noise, and he would end up banging his head on purpose.

Yes they do.
Well I've got to go to school and help set up for the art exhibition they are having today. Miss grumpy is doing my head in, we are onto our 3rd pair of shoes and she's still not happy!!!!!!
Got to remember my Mars Bar slice for the cake stall as well.

I don't have any family around. My Mum lives over an hour away and I like it like that. My Dad and in laws are on the other side of the world!
I was a single Mum for 5 years with the boys and working full time so I know I can handle a lot.

LMFAO!!!!!! My daughter is a complete nut. She brought me her shape sorter toy and none of the shapes were in it. I asked her where they were and she pointed at a snack called shapes!!!!! How could I argue with her?

They really do like to keep us on our toes. Isobel has been the worst out of all 3 with teething!!!!! Some nights I was up every hour with her and it was so draining. She's just finished getting all her 2yo molars and she's only 18 months.

I'm really hoping it's just a phase, but it's a long phase. Then again he WANTS to walk and is doing everything he can to get to that point. If he didn't get so tired and do his complaining type cry and then close his eyes and be dead weight on my shoulder before bolting up, it wouldn't bother me nearly as much.

No, unfortunatly I'm not. I had started trying to relactate (just by pumping) but I put that on hold. I'm debating on wether to give it an honest go or give up on the idea. It's been 1 1/2 - 2 months now.

Shannin, it's not about entertaining me, it's about me being here for YOU. Silly girl.
I know what you mean about wording things Michelle. I worked on and off throughout the day today trying to word the text of my question to give the pertinent info.

Greasy, salty, crispy fried potatoes sound really good right now. I can tell it's fall. My body is going into hibernation mode and wants me to pack on some weight for the winter.

Either way is fine. If you answered in the other post, someone else who is having similar problems might find something of benifit.

Hehe Elizabeth, I was just reading the sleep one. I don't know if I have any advice though. Each one of my children were so different and I know with my first I made a lot of mistakes with his sleeping.
Would you prefer me to answer here or in the threads?

Hey Michelle, I have two questions on the Welcome page. I don't know if you would be able to help with either one, but if you get some spare time, would you look. http://www.circleofmoms.com/welcome-to-c... and http://www.circleofmoms.com/welcome-to-c...
Notice I didn't ask for Shannin's advice. lol That's because I know she'll have to read the post anyway because she's so nosey...um, I mean curious.

My whole family on both of my folks sides are a bunch of butt smackers, so if someone is walking up the steps in front of one of us, it gets beat like a drum. The butt gets beat if someone bends down too. How can you resist that kind of target.

When Maleena was 4, we went on vacation. My grandma was taking her clothes of to change into her nightgown and my mom told her that the camper curtains were open and she was standing in front of them. Slightly embarassed she quickly dressed and said, "well no one her knows me anyway."
Maleena very sweetly went over and patted her on the arm and said encouragingly, "that's okay grandma, I'll take you outside and let everyone know who you are."

DD said a little boy was teasing her on a computer game she plays. They can hook up with other players. She said this boy was being mean. I said that is okay as long as you dont hook up with them. She But mom, I dont know how to hook up. I thought it was cute. :)
