It's 10:30pm here, Michelle. And Mars bar slice, that sounds ever good. I'm so jealous of those who get to try it.

I've got to go and try and cut up the mars bar slice I've made for the cake stall at school this afternoon.
It's been in the fridge overnight so it's going to be a bit of a wrestle!!!!! Wish me luck ladies.

Now I have to think of an anniversary present. Geez he's so hard to buy for because he never asks for anything. He doesn't wear any jewellery (only his wedding ring) and I bought him a nice watch last year.

Elizabeth: The birthday present story is funny!!!!! He wanted some work socks but where he usually gets them don't do the same brand anymore so bought him another brand. I was so worried about getting the right colour I didn't check the size and of course got the wrong size!!!!!!
Then being the natural Blonde I am it took me almost a week to remember to change them!!! But he's put them on today and said they are nice and warm and fluffy.

That is awesome that you now have such a wonderful man! I guess sometimes we have to have the bad before we get the good just so we can realize how great the good is!

Hiya Jayce!

I am now as well Cara. I sometimes wonder what I did to deserve such a wonderful, caring man.
It's such a change for me, even 6 years after divorcing my ex. My husband is very understanding about what I went through in my last marriage and puts up with my strange quirks.

Michelle, did he ever let you do anything for his b-day? Did you figure out an aniversary present.

My Dad does that for my Mom, randomly brings her flowers just because he loves her. They have been married for 44 years.

Never judge anyone until you have walked a mile in their shoes. That way, if they are insulted, you are a mile away, and they are barefoot.

Hi everyone.

It's ok Cara, I'll stop complaining about him. Just needed to get it off my chest.
My hubby is gorgeous, he bought me flowers on Friday for no reason. I wonder what he's going to get me for our anniversary on Thursday!!!!

We've been doing 50/50 for 6 years now. It's really all my 7yo knows. We only live around the corner from each other so the boys stay at the same school etc. Plus I'm so involved with the school they see me there even when I don't have them.

Must be in their DNA. At least he took the baby with him, first time he's taken her anywhere alone. I hope she doesn't crack it cause she's not used to me not being there.

They like to dick around ESPECIALLY when you need them the most. I don't know why......

Can you guys not come up with a different arrangement Michelle? 50/50 is a lot of upheaval for kids, could you not change it to alturnative weekends and a good chunk of the holidays with their Dad?

*sigh* what do I know, I'm sure you've already thought about that.

Damn the stupid So has fucked off to sell his Silver and I have to walk to the damn doctors. He's such an ass wipe with time, he could have been there and back by now, but noooooo he fucks around here for 45 minutes first. Thanks. It not like I had you stay home from work because I'm perfectly well here...

My current hubby is fantastic. The boys love him and respect him. There is a reason my ex is my ex and when things like this happen it just confirms it.

Katherine - posted on 09/25/2011

Yeah that sucks. He needs to be a little more on top of it. Why do men think it's ok to let kids watch TV and play games all night, especially on school nights?

It's hard because we do shared care so they are with Dad for a week then with me for a week. If I say anything to the ex he will ignore me and say I'm being the interfering ex wife.

Cara - posted on 09/25/2011

I don't blame you. My friends son was like that every time he came back from his dads. One time he came back and was at preschool and grabbing himself and making rude gestures at school when he came back. he was only 4!

I'm doing alright, just a bit annoyed at the ex and this is a good place to vent.

He lets them run amok for the week, late nights, playing Halo video games and them Alex acts out all the moves at school. His teacher told me he was humping another child's head last week. That's just not my boy. Here he's so sweet and loving. The problem is the ex didn't go to the last lot of parent teacher interviews so has no idea what's going on.

Hi Cara.

Michelle, I KNOW. Every time my kids come home from my ex's they are monsters. They are over tired and grumpy and have tantrums until bedtime.
My little one went to bed at 5 tonight she was so tired.

Well I'm Pissed off with my ex today!!!!!!!
My gorgeous 7yo son is a devil child the week my ex has them and I know that if I say anything to him he won't listen. The teachers know the week I have him because he is sweet but is the complete opposite the other week.

It's upsetting when I go to school on a Monday and told the things he did the week before :-( I actually came home and cried.
