Thanks. He had to go. He didn't deserve to be with me and my children. He wasn't a bad person, he was just a bad husband and father. It's a shame, but I look at some of my friends who are struggling through miserable marriages and am thankful that I made the decisions that I did.

Wow Nichole that is some story. I am glad you made it threw that. It is also nice to hear you had the strength to get rid of hubby #2. I hope it is not too difficult for you. I know it cant be easy. I hope you can find some support here and on CoM in general. This is a great place to talk with others and get advice. The disabled communities I have found are tricky. They are a good place to get advice but they are not as active as some of the other communities or the Welcome Page. There are a lot of disabled members that cruise the Welcome Page so dont think you have to post your disability questions in the disabled community only. I hope that helps a little. Welcome to Bitchin Ladies. I hope you enjoy it here as much as I do. :)

2 and 1/2 years ago I met my Phil who is the best thing that ever happened to me. He loves me despite the fact that the meds put weight on me, or that I can't breathe, or hurt all of the time. He loves me because I'm a crazy bitch who isn't afraid to open her mouth, even if it means shoving my whole foot into it. He's the father my kids always should have had. I'm very lucky. I'm sick, I'm in pain, I'm crazy as hell, but I have a good man who adores me. So I will probably never bitch about him. Every other asshole is fair game... ;P

I have 2 kids. My son is 12 and my daughter is almost 11. They came from my first marriage.That douchebag had an affair, got caught, and divorced. He's a complete piece of shit. He signed his rights away to the kids 5 years ago, and my then 2nd husband adopted them. Hubby #2 meant well at the beginning, but was a perpetual teenager who thoroughly believed he and his friends would be rock stars one day, and pretty much threw away our marriage over his fucking band. I worked 2 jobs, approx 80 hours a week, to pay the bills while his fat ass sat around in his boxers playing guitar. He worked , but I worked my ass off. He wouldn't feed my kids while I was at work and would leave them alone while he was having band practice in the garage with his friends. Priorities... I got sick in early 2008, had a lung biopsy 6/08 that went horribly wrong, and I nearly bled out on the table. They intubated me with a latex tube, to which I have a severe allergy, and I went into anaphylactic shock and nearly died. I spent 15 days in ICU. A few days in a coma. I got diagnosed with a rare lung disease that there really isn't much treatment for and surgery isn't an option. I kicked him out before the hole in my throat from my biopsy closed. If he couldn't hack being a husband when i was healthy, he sure as hell couldn't now that I'm sick...

I have 3 kids, 2 boys from my first marriage (10 & 7.5) and a girl from my current marriage. I like to tell people I had to change Husbands to get the girl!!!!
It's also my 2nd wedding anniversary today so won't be around tonight, I'll be having fun with my Husband once all the kids are asleep.
