Why do you feel bad for MY decission. I could have said I can't type much tonight. Don't piss me off with that "I'm selfish" crap when you have been so supportive of me. (said in a non-threatening half teasing about pissing me off)

Good night. I need to take a hot shower and get into bed myself. Here's hoping for a less painful day for ALL of us tomorrow!

I'll go do some friction. Hopefully I'll have stopped in time. It is burning with every letter I'm typing. So goodnight.

I'm sorry I had a very selfish day and night on here today. I will do my best to focus on all of you guys tomorrow. I feel really bad now.

It really sucks that so many of us on here are in so much pain. It's good that we have each other, though.

I need to get off the computer. I wish I could have been MORE helpful. Can't fix the world Elizabeth. Can't help everyone. Can't do everything. STOP trying. STOP concentrating on what you can't do and be happy with the help that you can give.

Sorry, sometimes I need to just shake some sense into me.

If you've had to start running the furnace more recently, that can dry the air and cause some flare up.

Jason's really happy now. lol. I've decided to go for disability AND getting helpful hints on how to (hopefully) lessen the pain I'm in.

I predict the weather better than a weatherman normally does because I learned to read all the little signs in my body. lol

Elizabeth - posted on 09/30/2011

Change in weather affects it too. If temperature, humidity or pressure changes, it can cause a flare-up. Generally the quicker and more drastic the change, the worse it is.

A very slight electrolyte imbalence can affect those with fibro. A sports drink or two normally help. (I can tell when I drink one how much I needed it as I'm drinking it. If I really need it, it just tastes like flavored water.

Acidic foods is a big one. Tomatoes, pinapple, oranges, sweet peppers, vinager etc.

Dairy products especially aged cheese.

Pizza can cause me to hurt:(

No. I haven't been tested for anything in about 10 years. Have had x-rays at the chiropractor, but that's it.

The reason why I was asking all of these questions was because these are lesser known symptoms of fibromyalgia. (chronic tendonitis and loose ligaments are associated with fibro too) Have you ever been tested?

I've never noticed cold making me ache, but I tend to avoid cold. Noises and stuff that bug me are things like people chewing and swallowing... can't stand those noises! Other than that, I only notice stuff when I either have a migrane or am going to have a migrane.

Does cold make you ache?

I'm going to rephrase one of my questions. Do you hear sounds that others don't pay attention to and sometimes they annoy you? Like lights humming or ticking of a clock etc.

Nope Carolee, that's usually why they don't understand or don't care to understand because they have no idea what stuff feels like AND have never been taught to care to even think what it feels like. Arg. Vent over

1. ringing in the ears

Sometimes.

2. overly sensitive-to sound, light, other's emotions

No.

3. does touch sometimes hurt when you would think that it shouldn't

There are times when my skin hurts and nobody can touch me (or breathe on me) without me crying. It doesn't happen often... maybe 2-3 times a year.

4. Do you get dizzy for no reason

No, but I don't have good balance.

5. Do you have allergies or skin sensitivities

If I eat peanuts or anything with peanut oil, my insides will swell and I will have "issues" for a couple of days. Also, I get nausious when I have straight milk (dairy products don't bother me, as long as it's not over-kill).

6. Do you have IBS either chronic constipation, diareha or a cycling between the two

Not since I stopped eating peanuts and drinking cups of milk.

7. Do you get migraines or tension headaches

I have been diagnosed with "complicated migranes", which, they explained, is basically migranes with either an acid-trip-type of experience and/or partial temporary blindness.

8. Are you constantly thirsty sometimes even when you are drinking

Sometimes.
