My family has enough trouble with names because they just start or end the same way... Carolee, Corbin, Korinn, Caleb... then Lynn and Brooklynn. I couldn't imagine naming kids something even closer-sounding than that.

That is sad. And kind of funny. I knew a girl back in Texas who was named Danielle and her brother was Daniel. DH's cousins are Crystal and Jennifer.
I think matching names are fine for dogs and other things that can't complain, but not for children.

My dad has twin cousins. They're named Don and John. My sister and I never could tell them apart, so we just called both of them "Uncle On".

Niki, exactly! I just start making smart ass comments on the thread and suggest that she not use matching or rhyming names. My DH has identical twin cousins and their names don't match or rhyme. People really need to think ahead when they name children.
Carolee thanks, I've had issues with that person a few times in different threads because she either didn't read the other posts, misinterpreted something I said or didn't like what I said.

I told a lady to start her own thread and then said it was rude to hijack other people's threads. And another member who I know of from DMs told me that my behaivour was uncalled for and I was being rude.
I think it's utter laziness not to find names for your own kids. I mean you decided to carry them for 9 months and everything. Do you really want your child or children to know that you couldn't be bothered to think of their name yourself and got their names from random people on the internet?
