Should the FCC have rules on profanity and nudity for prime time television? What should those rules be?

Because kids watch TV that late, ya know? Come ON! Your kid shouldn't even be watching TV that late!

I don't think the FCC has any right to butt in really. As a parent YOU should be their censor!

Ever since my cable provider stopped carrying HDNet, I've been really limited for opportunities to show my kid inappropriate nudity and profanity. There's still lots of violence though. Heaven forbid the kids see a boob, but bring on the slashing with machetes!!

She only gets to watch PBS Kids, Jeopardy, and old episodes of Star Trek. There's violence and some sex stuff on Star Trek, but I'm not overly concerned. The chances of her pulling a phaser on the kid in the next desk or attempting inter-species mating rituals seems slim.

I totally agree Katherine. Parents need get their heads out of their butts and need to decide which shows their kids can or cannot watch. And plus a young child should never be up late watching shows that do contain nudity and violence.

I agree Katherine. Parents need to know what they're kids are watching and if they don't like it tell their kids to turn the TV off.
