Oh what a day to see this question! Our morning was chaos! First my 5 y/o daughter flipped out about her hair, so I'm trying to work with it while my husband gets her breakfast. She hops up to look at the braid I did and drops her toast, grape jelly side down, on the carpet. Then I remember it is PE day (they have a weird schedule) so she has to change clothes and shoes. The bus comes, sees her run out, stops, but she stands there crying for me to come out with her... I'm in the middle of something I can't stop right away so he has to go on and then I had to drive her to school. A very stressful 45 minutes!!!

I came home and went back to bed with the mindset that I'll try waking up and starting the day over in two hours.

Then I go to a job orientation, arrive 10 minutes early, but they forget about me and leave me sitting in the office for 30 minutes while they do orientation with everyone else. They were all sent directly to the training room by the receptionist. Good thing I had already arranged alternate afternoon bus plans for the girl.

The rest of the day is going okay. :)

Well today was well today. Woke up sick. The husband worked from home to help me. He did take my son to school and pick him up, but other then that I was on my own taking care of everything else.one of those not sure whether to kiss or kick him things. He was trying to be helpful though and so that was good. We promised the kids Chuck e cheese so we took them. There were some older kids there that were running around mowing people down (including almost knocking over my 8 month old in the stroller twice and nearly falling on my two year old without even stopping to apologize). My son has caught something and is running a fever. But they are all in bed finally and asleep.

We went to the Safari park as my daughters birthday day out. We had lots of fun, I went down a huge wavy slide goodness knows how many times with the children. We saw some beautiful birds and animals. One of the chimps has been at the park since 1970 and was rescued from a circus, they think she is around 60.We all laughed when we were feeding some horses and they put my little boys whole hand in their mouths to get the food (he has little hands they obviously couldn't get it another way). Had a fabulous day, the sun was shining, we had a lovely picnic and the little ones fell asleep in minutes they were so tired

Wow. Keep at it. You have a knack for it. I bet you love doing it too. It is not work if you love what you are doing. I say go for it and now. ha ha

I started a childrens book in verse, but now it has turned into a bit of a novel. I wanted to do Sendak, but its turning into CS Lewis, lol. Still working on the preschool version though. plus my regular poems, I win a contest here and there.

I know it sounds corny but what about greeting cards or kids rhyming books. That was really good.

OMG, That was great. I know know your fate. You should be a writer and not a fighter.

Totally awesome. :)

well, it's raining, it's pouring, altogether quite boring. Its a dvd kind of day, our brains are all rotting away. I should be grocery shopping, but the rains not stopping. it was quite a long week, today I just seek, a little down time, some peace of mind. Dont feel like cooking,I'l have to go looking, through the cupboards to forage, Im sure theres something in storage, that these kids will eat, or else for a treat, we'll just order in, the way the days been, that will be a great time, thats it for this rhyme. can you tell im bored, lol

Well...we're having a good day so far. Christian had a carnival at school. It had to be moved inside because of the rain, but it was still fun and he won lots of prizes.
We signed him up for his second year of preschool. He's excited for that.
Then, Chad called and said that he'll be able to stop by for a few hours this weekend while heading from Fort McCoy back to Fort Knox...so it will be great to see him too.

My only complaint is morning sickness....I'm not a fan. I'd forgotten how miserable it could be. Otherwise, life is pretty good.

Well my daughter blew up her diaper. They made a mess in the great room and won't clean it up. I have to ALL the time. They play mommy and baby so they make a mess. Other than that everything is good.
My 2 year old has diarrhea and keeps blowing up her diaper eww. It's so gross. I am trying to feed her the BRAT diet but she doesn't like it to much.
I have been on the computer all morning lol.

One minute, last night, I was feeling hunky dory, and the next minute, totally ill.

So yes, I was sick all last night, woke up sick. Blech, I feel awful... I'm even running a fever and I *never* run fevers.

On a positive note... usually when I'm sick it always seems to happen when my hubby's working, so I'm deathly ill having to take care of the little ones.

But this time my husband isn't working all weekend! So I told him last night, he'd more than likely have to wake up with the kids. He groaned a bit.

But yah! He woke up with the kids this morning and I got some much needed rest. Right now, my daughter is taking her nap and he took the older two to the park.

All I've had to do so far is tidy up a bit after them and put my daughter down for her nap.

Which is great! Because I'm soo dizzy and faint feeling it'd be a bitch and a half to do much more.

My daughter should be waking up soon and I'm going to have to make lunch soon. Not looking forward to that. :(

The thought of looking at and working with food is less than appealing right now!

The kids also dragged in some sand in their shoes last night from the park. But I can't bring myself to drag the vaccuum out of the closet. My kitchen floor needs to be swept and mopped, it's groady. :P

And really the whole house needs a good clean.
