1. How important is a cell phone in your life? Eh, I could (and have) do without it. Sure, my life is certainly easier with my phone, but it's not essential.

2. Are you addicted to your cell phone? Not really.

3. Are you a texter, an emailer, or a photo sender? All of the above. I have a Windows phone, so I use it just like my computer.

4. In the normal course of a day, about how many times do you touch your cell phone? Ummm... it depends on the day. If I'm waiting for an email I check the phone all the time (my email is linked with my phone), but if it's a nomal day then I don't touch the phone that much.

5. Are you guilty of distracted driving? With the phone - no. Not only is it illegal where I am (California), but I think it's irresponsible...

6. What is the 1 app never invented that needs to be made for your cell phone? Not sure... I haven't felt the need for another app on my phone...

7. What annoys you the most about cell phones these days? I hate when people talk/text/surf the web/play games on their phone while driving. It annoys the crap outta me!

Thats how my dads phone is, I don't even think he knows to make a call lol, he can answer it well maybe, 95% of the time I call and get his 'this subscriber needs to set up his voice mail' lol

Yeah, Nick has his, but it's more for us. Plus, he kept going across the street to use the neighbor's phone. We finally had to tell him, dude's high most of the time, don't go over there. It would be stupid stuff too, that could wait. He has to prove he's responsible before he gets a nicer one. We've had issues with homework and getting straight F's this last school year.

Kaylie will be responsible enough, I think. But, she's either at school, daycare, or with us. I wouldn't want her using a phone at school and at daycare, I can call and talk to her if I needed, which I don't think I ever have. Her bff got one for Christmas last year from her dad, who doesn't live with her. She's already lost it, but since she had one, Kaylie thinks she should have one too. She plays games on mine all the time, but I don't think she realizes when I do get her one, it's probably not going to be a smart phone. She does sports, but I'm not at the point of dropping her and leaving her yet either. Maybe with this cheer thing I will... :)

Whats a cell phone. Mine is old and only used for emergencies. I am not even sure I know how to use it. That wont help in an emergency. I don't even know my own phone number or where is it half the time. It is suppose to be in the car only.

My sons didnt get one until they were in their teens Alin got his when he started doing sports after school to let me know when to pick him up if he had to stay late or what not. Jeff got one when he had to go downtown so much for A.R.T. and community service, he wanted to take the city bus to be more independent so it was a way to keep tabs on him. So basically for us it was more for us then for them. The little two (7 and 8) at this point don't have any desire as far as I know

My step-son has a phone and we are pretty strict about it. It's only for emergencies and only has it because he's at home alone after school for a couple of hours. He's not even allowed to take it to his mom's. That's because it will get lost or broken within an hour over there. I think one of his friends has his number and I only know that because I was looking to see how many minutes he had left (it's a pre-paid) and saw a couple of texts. He's not allowed to take it to school with him, but if he goes anywhere else where he's not going to be next to us, he takes it so we can find him or if there's an emergency.

My daughter wants one, but she's only 6. She keeps asking for one for her birthday, and I say sure, when you turn 10. There's a post for you....How old should your child be before they get their own cell phone?

I hate that too, Ill be talking to my son then bam the phone is in hand and his thumbs going. We do have a rule that no phones at the table, if its at home a resturant anywhere if we are sitting at a table the phone stays in the pocket. at least there is that break from it lol I am the only one who can answer and thats only if its my parents ring. since they NEVER call me if they do its an emergency.

2. Are you addicted to your cell phone? Yes. I'm constantly checking facebook on it, even if nothing exciting is going on. So maybe I have two addications, phone and fb.

3. Are you a texter, an emailer, or a photo sender? I do all three, mostly texting, then pics and email the least. I usually check my work email and say that's something I'll have to take care of at work.

4. In the normal course of a day, about how many times do you touch your cell phone? Not sure I can count that high.

5. Are you guilty of distracted driving? Sometimes I'll talk on the phone. Text at a red light if it's short, but not while driving.

6. What is the 1 app never invented that needs to be made for your cell phone?I agree. A CoM app would be great.

7. What annoys you the most about cell phones these days? people texting while holding a conversation with you. I've been guilty of this occasionally but I really try not to since it is super annoying.
